Good Stay Just not a 5 for a Hampton. The refrigerator was larger than most but it should have had a freezer considering its size. AC could have done a better job. Plenty of towels and 120v outlets. Carpet appeared to be in a need for cleaning. Nice check in. Breakfast was OK.

The Bait and Switch Hotel It started with the "Bait and Switch" reservation and ended with the Hilton "how was your stay survey". We have used this Hampton In for a substantial number of years (since 2011) on an annual basis (except for last year when our travels to Lawton were interrupted by a COVID event). We began to face the music March 14 arriving in Lawton after three days on the road. We left the boondoggle March 17. The only reason we stayed that long is that it is my home town. We have had nothing but excellent stays at this Hampton Inn. I fail to understand how the management with maid service in-between occupancy could possible "miss" the damaged chair and unusable computer desk. They might have been forced to maintain the room in that condition due to a prior murder scene. In Lawton that is possible. During our stay we attempted to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. About the only thing edible was the breakfast sausage on a biscuit. Even the apples were not edible. Try the White Buffalo almost directly across Cache Road. Good coffee and breakfast. Next time we visit Lawton we will stay at an lit, all-night gas station rather than put-up with this Hilton (individually owned) facility. If they want to charge hotel prices they need to step-it-up-abit. The Hilton corporate survey system does not allow a customer's feedback for those customers who may be traveling and not have access to the on-line survey. When I tried a message was thrown indicating that it was no longer available for my input. It might be wise for the Hampton Inn (Lawton) not to assume that everyone is associated with the various graduation ceremonies involving Ft. Sill Basic, AIT, etc. I did my time and carry the memories and scares, More pictures are available upon request.

Unprofessional & Dirty This place was absolutely disgusting and a disgrace to the Hilton name. It was filthy and the service desk employee (Tabby) was the absolute rudest, unprofessional and uncaring employee of Hilton we have ever encountered. The sheets had yellow stains, the mattress had yellow stains and Blood stains. No cold water!! The ADA room we requested because I am disabled was unsafe especially in the bathroom where water sprayed EVERYWHERE while I showered. We had to lay several towels down to make it safe so I would not slip and fall. The room reeked of cigarette smoke even though we requested non-smoking room. When my husband notified the front desk she informed him there was nothing she could do. There was no maintenance on site and no manager on site. She did offer to request the maintenance person to come to the hotel but it was already 8:30 at night and we had been traveling since 4 am. We finally decided to take matters into our own hands and call the 800 number for Hilton. They transferred us to another property near by for free. Many praises to the Hilton customer service representative Tony who handled everything for us. The Hilton Garden Inn down the street was gorgeous, clean and welcoming. Stay there. Funny thing when we checked in a maintenance guy was at the front desk talking to the front desk employee. They had a guy onsite at 9:45 at night. They said they would take care of us and to enjoy our night. They apologized for the other hotel which we NEVER got from them. As we were leaving our hotel the next morning a housekeeper told us to have a wonderful day and God Blessed us. Such a huge difference in the hotels. The Hampton Inn actually told us when we were leaving that if my husband had gone to the desk to complain one more time she was going to have him removed from the property. We told her we were going to request corporate to pull the video footage to prove how rude and unprofessional she was not my husband. So if you stay here don’t complain about how disgusting it is because you can potentially be removed seem the property. Again Kudos to Hilton customer service for getting us out of that place. I wish I would have taken pictures of the bathroom.

This Hampton needs an update! We stayed January 9-12,2024, while in town for a family funeral. The front lobby was nice and updated. The rooms, however, need major updates. The beds kept moving every time you sat on them. They need replaced. The pillows also need updating. This hotel only has mini fridges and microwaves in king suites. So many people asked for these that the staff actually had to put up a sign saying they were not standard.. I am not sure when the last time I stayed in a hotel without a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was good and Rich was very kind and friendly. It was an ok stay, not the Hampton I am used to.

Bugs in bed The staff is wonderful and understanding but the rooms are a different story. The rooms need to be inspected thoroughly for bugs in beds and immediately replace with new ones. Sister hotel (i.e. Laquinta) has the blood stains on mattresses and needs to be replaced. The staff at the sister hotel (i.e. Laquinta) is very disrespectful and feels a dirty bed is acceptable.
