Plumbing issues Beds are comfortable. Room was pretty clean. Very nice breakfast. Our toilet wouldn't flush when we first got there with 5 people and staff brought us a plunger! Grandpa was able to do some adjusting inside the tank and made it a bit better. The bar sink would not drain. Only one person tried to use it to brush their teeth.

Hotel needs an urgent renovation!!! The check in was slow since they did not have a room for us at the first. The elevator was not working so we had to use the stairs to the 3rd floor. They did offered to change to a room downstairs next day but we decided to stay where we were. The room was clean however it smelled like wet mop. This needs to be addressed. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok. Location is great ( restaurants, shopping, brewery etc) and parking is included. Definitely this hotel needs updates As soon as possible.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER One of the WORST hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My daughter had a 50lb bag with all the items we need in addition to our luggage and when we get here they tell us the elevator is broken for at least 3 weeks. We were originally supposed to be on the 3rd floor. The pool is closed. The room they moved us to smells like a wet mop. The charging plugs don’t work. There was a “sticky” residue on the table and the handles in the room. The refrigerator, besides not getting cold, had good still left in it. I will NEVER stay in this sh@# hole again. When I talked to the front desk they said the best she could do is comp us $14 a night. We are stuck here as every hotel is sold out in the area.

Very Unsafe and No One Really Cared We had a pretty unsafe experience and neither hotel management or Hilton cared enough about it to make the area safe or rectify it. We reached out to both. This tells you a lot about how the take care of the property and care about the safety of their guests. The parking lot of the Hampton Inn Salt Lake City/Layton’s parking lot is extremely unsafe. The parking lot has never been snow plowed even though it hasn’t snowed for several days. It is not just a giant pad of ice covering the road. I was trying to get 4 young kids inside on 1/18 and they were all slipping. My 14 year old slipped and fell in a big ice puddle and was soaking wet. I imagine you could have some big injuries happen if the road isn’t cleared. It hasn’t snowed for several days and the other parking lots at adjacent buildings are all plowed.

Filthy Stayed in the dirtiest hotel. A Hampton Inn. I took pix and lodged complaint this morning. The garbage in bath can not ours Shower disgusting, toilet dirty pumps holding lotion and hand soap were grungy. Had to wipe down before using etc And I should’ve taken pix of the dirty pool area including those handicapped chair lifts (2) totally rust from floor to chair any of the metal and filthy stained chairs in breakfast room. The elevator didn’t work temporarily and all carpets dirty needing replaced.
