Great all Around Although the property was undergoing renovation, the staff went out of their way to assist us with breakfast at the hotel next door and fruit and beverages in the makeshift lobby. We had a quiet, comfortable stay expected from Hampton. Clean room and ample amenities.

You don't want to stay here! This motel should not be open during remodeling. There is construction equipment everywhere, there is no carpet in the hallways, almost everything is out of order, the elevator only works part of the time, the rooms they put you in are not finished, and the list goes on. It felt ripped off to pay the full amount for staying in this construction zone. Having said that, the staff was courteous and went out of their way to accommodate you. And the breakfast was good.

Poor regard for customers by Hampton Inn Booked this room 2 months ago. Arrived to find it in full reconstruction mode with no warning. The reception desk was in a hallway on the first floor with construction materials all around. You actually have to enter through a side door. I am an Honors member so I could check in by the app. I went to our room on the second floor and found I literally couldn’t get luggage down the hallway with all of the various room contents and construction equipment in the hallway. My wife stayed with the luggage as I navigated to our room. The room may have been the only one on the floor that was intact. There were still construction workers working when we decided to go to another hotel. The front desk person cancelled our reservation without penalty but I then had to find another hotel. We did that but I was really disappointed with Hilton for not letting people know. The front desk said many people canceled after arriving. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel.

We tolerated it only because it was late and we were tired. 1. The room had a strong mildew smell that hit us when we opened the door. It was so strong that when I got my pajamas out of my suitcase at our next stay the next night, the pajamas still smelled of mildew. 2. The hotel was being rehabbed, the carpets inside the room were dirty, the smell of paint in the hallway was intense enough to make my wife have a headache. Also, the elevator was broken. Despite all these problems, we had to pay full cost: we had a stay worth maybe $50-$70, but we paid well over $100 more than that. 3. Much less important, but also irritating was trying to connecting to wifi. When I went to sign in, I was led directly to a page that implied that the only way I could have free wifi was to join Hilton Honors. So I filled out the information on that page. When I did so, I was informed that I was already a member of Hilton Honors, and the page said that I would have to sign in via the Hilton Honors webpage--but it did not give me a link to do so. At no point did the system actually take me to the wifi sign in, and I just decided to go to bed.

The manager of this hotel March 6 2024 was very rude to guests we had a room for I am not sure what happened. We have a married couple as drivers for our business. I booked them this hotel so they could switch out vehicles with my husband. They worked so hard to make this happen and didn't get in until 3:30 am exhausted. The plan was they were to meet my husband and switch vehicles so after doing so my husband would leave for California and they would go to bed, eat breakfast and then go back to bed until they needed to leave. But at breakfast my driver was going to to the room and he said the manager stopped him and got right in his face and demanded to know what he was doing there. He said he was staying at the hotel and he walked away. I am not sure what happened but this is the sweetest couple in the world. The wife texted me that the manager this morning was so rude March 6 2024 that they grabbed their stuff and left. I know they were exhausted and did us such a great favor by traveling over 1000 miles in a day to make this vehicle exchange work out. They didn't get a chance to even get a shower yet and now they are traveling exhausted today. I told them I would make it up to them and get them on my dime a nice hotel room at their next stop. We stay at the Hampton Inn all the time. This is a quiet, meek, lovely couple. I can only imagine they had not showered yet and the manager demanded rudely in my driver's face..."Can I help you?" as in what are the likes of you doing here. We got a room for them and a room for my husband at this hotel. So, over $400. Very disappointed in this hotel. Very sad these sweet employees had to be humiliated. Shame on that manager.
