Nice clean stay Hotel was clean. Front desk staff were very nice. Had small soup items in snack area, greatly appreciated as I did not want to go back out. Free breakfast was typical American continental, sausage not cooked enough, eggs were dry. Will stay again when passing through but get breakfast elsewhere.

Never expected this at a Hampton We have been staying exclusively at Hampton for several years, which led me to just book the room in Lebanon without reading reviews. The staff at the desk were wonderful. Even though I had checked in through the app, the digital key hadn’t activated, so we stopped and visited with Renee. We looked over the breakfast area, then headed to our room: 323. The elevators are amazing. You don’t even know you’re moving. While the scent in the hotel wasn’t bad, it wasn’t the pleasant and clean scent we’re used to, and there are places where the carpet is torn and/or bare. The first thing we noticed in the room was the chair. The kind of chair I love, comfortable to snuggle into. BUT… this one had multiple stains all over it. It was kinda gross. I started to pull the seat cushion up and look further, but then thought that I didn’t want to know. There is a round table next to the chair. One of the legs was tucked up under it — it’s apparently broken. Hubby sat in the desk chair and almost fell backward out of it. The chair is broken. The only way he was able to sit in it was to push it back against the cabinet so that it couldn’t fall back. I didn’t investigate further, but after walking on the carpet, the tiles of the foyer and bathroom were sticky. There is an odd stain on the side of the mattress - I didn’t see that until this morning. The heat works very well! The bathroom? If all you look at is the sink area, you’re good. If you look at the floor, you’ll see that dirt has built up. In the shower (love that it’s a shower and no tub) I had the hot water turned all the way on with no cold water added. Once in the shower, the water would become a trickle for a few moments, then back up to flow. It would fluctuated between hotter than it started to cooled off to lukewarm. We reported the broken desk chair and the stained living room chair at the front desk as we left.

Disappointing We generally enjoy staying at Hampton Inn properties. However, this one is a disappointment. We stayed there for one night recently (a last-minute trip for family business). The furniture in the room was stained and the carpet is old and threadbare. In addition, we were in the side of the hotel that faces the Interstate highway, and the road noise was very loud in the room all night long. We will probably not ever be back to this hotel.

Only as a last option I used the Hampton Inn app to check in which works very well. We did speak briefly with the clerk at the front desk who is very professional and helpful. We questioned why the parking lot was solid ice when all of the adjacent hotels and restaurants had lots that had been cleared. He had no explanation. Then it started to become obvious. Carpeting in the hallways is worn and coming apart and when we got into room 223 we found it’s pretty disgusting. The carpet is nasty, the furniture is worn out, and the television did not work, even though the clerk made efforts to repair it. The desk usually has an office chair but someone has substituted a standard four leg chair which is about a foot too short. The clerk moved us to room 405, which does have an older flatscreen TV that is not HD. This is not a good representation of Hampton Inn or Hilton properties. It is probably a franchise and the owners are letting it fall down to a point of where it will be categorized with motel six and other low end properties. This is the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in.

Multiple stains from multiple liquids oozed at every corner of the couch. Multiple stains from multiple liquids. I got a King bed w/office room. Right as I entered, I could smell what might be a faint but certain aroma of pipe tabaco, or flavored cigar. The carpet was coming up at the transition to the entry. Being in sales, I’ve had the pleasure of staying in some trucker motels. This was that. I can stomach a lot. But with the price and reputation of a Hilton property, I didn’t expect what I found as I entered deeper into the room. The bed looked like a Salvation Army discount mattress and box spring. The couch and foot bench harbored multiple stains from various liquids. It appeared to me that no attempt had been made to clean any of it up. If an attempt was made, the attempt was poor and half- hearted. The saddest part of the accommodations is that the management of this facility has not condemned the room. And is willing to continue to offer it to paying customers. If I ever walk into a Hilton property that looks like this again. I’ll be switching to Marriott.
