Great Stay We were driving down from Destin and just needed a place to sleep since it was getting late. Booked on the app and checked in about an hour later. Checked in online, but they do not have digital key. So had to stop at the front desk. The lady checking us in was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows were comfortable and afforded us a good night’s sleep. The towels were nice and not thin. The a/c was a tad loud but cooled well. They have double roll down blinds that kept the room nice and dark. Microwave, coffee maker & mini fridge in room. Breakfast was good and everything was fresh. I believe they had 3 hot options plus waffle maker. Very yummy waffles with available fruit toppings. Great value for your money. Clean comfortable room, good breakfast, free parking and no resort fees. Can’t get any better than that. We are in the Mount Dora area frequently and will definitely stay here again.

Poor customer service, suspected entry into room I normally stay at Hampton Inns when I travel because they are clean and reliable with friendly staff. During this stay, we checked in and almost immediately left for an event. Upon our return, which was after midngiht, it appeard someone had been in our room - the bed had been unmade, etc. When we went to the front desk they did not apologize or offer to provide clean linnens, etc. They did provide us an extra room, but it was a different room type with two beds instead of one king (which is cheaper). We did not move rooms because I did not want to move all belongings in the middle of the night and did not feel compfortable leaving my things in a room that I think someone else had access to. In the morning, we realized that one of the towels had also been used and was actually dirty. We suspected something had been taken from the room; staff did not apoligoze a single time for our experience and were quite rude about the fact that we decided not to use the extra room. We did contact the police to file a report but they couldn't do anything without something actually missing from the room. I called Hilton to file a complaint with the company and was assured management would look in to the problem and contact me wihtin 3 days; it was been over a week and I have not been contacted, nor have I recieved any compenstaion for the terrible experience. Will not stay here again.

Nice Hotel near my family This is a very nice hotel. The rooms - and the overall hotel was very clean. The breakfast station was very good with choices. I will stay here again. I would recommend this hotel. The value for my comfort for the price was worth it!

Close To Perfection Hubby and I checked in for two nights and enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn Leesburg, with a couple of minor exceptions. We were especially comfortable in a roomy king suite at the end of a hallway on a high floor, where noise was never a factor in our stay. Our room was furnished with better than average amenities, including a full-size tub in a very large bathroom that was even equipped with an exhaust fan - a noticeable absence in too many hotels (and one of my pet peeves). The lovely granite counter was more than large enough to accommodate all our personal care products, and plenty of thick towels were provided. The decor here was eclectic - a blend of upscale and retro. In addition to the very comfortable king bed, our suite was furnished with a sofa bed and a couple of end tables, a large desk/chair, full-length closet mirror, microwave and mini-refridge in a 3-drawer dresser, bedside tables and lamps, an extra dresser drawer/luggage rack combo, blackout blinds, iron/board, coffee maker (not Keurig), ice bucket . . . everything you expect to find in a better brand hotel. Wi-fi speed was never a problem here, and I spent a lot of time on my laptop. I was impressed with the wall dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. I admit to being unimpressed, though, with single use bar soaps which could be replaced with body wash in wall dispensers for fully-green compliance. The room didn't have a recycle bin, but I trust that the housekeeping staff is trained to separate recyclables from garbage before disposal. We left a pile of plastic (food and beverage containers) on the desk top, rather than tossing them in the trash cans. I appreciated the lone non-GMO snack available in the selection for Hilton Honors guests - something edible for a change. I'll add, though, that I wasn't pleased with the water offering. The snack display case included Zephyr Hills spring water but, when we got to our room and opened the gift bag, we discovered two bottles of Nestle Pure Life. We won't drink that. Speaking of food and drink, I'll divert briefly to mention that Ruby Tuesday is directly adjacent to the hotel, and you can walk directly across the two parking lots to grab lunch or dinner. A couple of other minor exceptions to an almost ideal stay were: 1) Lack of sleeves for coffee cups. We had difficulty drinking anything hot because it was too easy to burn fingers. 2) No raw sugar or Half & Half for the coffee. White sugar and fake creamer is on our no-go list. One issue that I feel is important enough to mention is cigarette smoking by the front desk attendant. When we arrived, she was outside puffing, and the smell was noxious. Additionally, two guests who had already checked in were standing in the lobby waiting for service while the on-duty staff was taking a cigarette break. She was unaware that guests were waiting until she followed us inside. In conclusion, I very much appreciated the extra-late checkout offered by the lobby attendant on our final day. While Hubby was at the golf course well beyond standard checkout time, and I would have been twiddling my thumbs in the breakfast room waiting for him had I been required to vacate the suite. Some aspects of our stay were better than expected, while others could use a bit of tweaking. Almost ideal. I wouldn't hesitate to book this Hampton Inn again if we're ever staying in Leesburg.

Good Experience This was an oasis in a sea of unexpected problems. Radiator on car decided to give up the ghost and main credit card was hacked! The personnel at the front desk were more than helpful and really went out of their way to help. It took 3 days to get the car fixed and as I went through the lobby on each of the days, they inquired as to how things were going and if there was anything they could do for me. A very pleasant experience!
