Great clean place! Rented thru hotels.com got here and they (hotel.com) took my payment but declined the hotel my payment. The gentlemen that runs the hotel was awesome. He said they’d been having trouble with them. He got on the phone with them while I was on virtual chat with them. He fought for me and got my money refunded then I rented the room thru the hotel (which was a cheaper rate by the way) room is very clean! Waiting on breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!! Very nice worker and owners.

Oler hotel but clean Older hotel but owners try very hard to keep it clean and everything worked. Some items were outdated and small things could be replaced and some small paint jobs. But CLEAN! Plenty of linens, comfy bed, pretty good breakfast. A little leary when we checked in seeing 2 large groups of college students arriving. They were rowing and softball athletes competing in the area. BUT! They were quiet! __ A bit dissappointed we were not able to use our coupon, but I guess we arrived a little late and they were close to full. We would come back.

Econo Lodge can be a hit or miss. THIS ONE IS A HIT! Stayed one night, passing through. Had 2 small dogs and appreciated a room without carpet. The beds are really tall! My old 15 year old dog couldn’t jump that high. Any small dog wouldn’t be able to make that jump. Clean room, clean bathroom, clean beds. Mini frig was loud so we unplugged it for the night. Shower pressure was awesome and plenty of hot water. Morning staff on point. Thanks, we will make this a stop again.

Meh I don't know why the lodging in this little nothing of a town is so expensive, but we were just looking for a convenient, budget friendly place to stay overnight so we chose this little motel. I guess we were expecting something slightly nicer based on the reviews. Wade at the front desk was super friendly and helpful so that's a plus, but the owner - although well-intentioned I'm sure - was a bit intrusive at breakfast. The breakfast selection itself was minimal and heavy on the carbs but they did have a waffle machine so that was nice. The only problem is, as I approached the waffle maker, the overbearing owner took a cup of batter that had been sitting out at the side of the machine (for how long, I have no idea) and proceeded to pour it on the waffle iron for me. That didn't sit well with me at all; I had no idea how long it had been out or if anyone had touched it. As it turned out, I didn't get sick so I guess its was okay, but the whole experience didn't sit right with me.

Nice place to stay This was a clean, nice place to stay. We are just passing through on our way to the Smokies. The man who checked us in (10:40 p.m.) was one of the nicest people I have encountered. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. I wish I had asked his name. The room was spacious- it had a microwave and a mini fridge. Very clean. Breakfast was great.
