Great hotel and even better staff. Had a great stay at Mount Errigal hotel. Even got a free upgrade. Staff so friendly and very helpful. Room was amazing. Very clean. Leisure centre great and so relaxing. Food was delicious and great value. Good variety at breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Shocking service Booked a table via phone call mid week for a restaurant table on the Sunday. Upon arrival to the restaurant there is no greeting desk in the restaurant to query booking. There was no booking noted and advised it was self service carvery, after eventually finding a member of staff to help ( the first person we asked mumbled it carvery and walked off). After half an hour we were provided with menus. We then had to ask for children's menus as they weren't provided. The waiter came back to take drinks orders and came back three times with drinks for six people and even then forgot one of the drinks. After an hour of being at the table we eventually received our starters. We had to ask for napkins and for the salt cellar to be refilled as it was empty. Only after the starters did the waiter take an order ( after being asked) for the kids meals. Service was absolutely shocking and extremely slow. Staff clearly haven't been trained properly nor was any common sense applied. It's a pitty because the food was actually nice. Wouldn't be back.

Weddings at the Mount Errigal Hotel We had our wedding at the Mount Errigal Hotel and we could not recommend it enough. Bronagh was our wedding coordinator and she was just exceptional as was Terry and all the staff at the hotel. From the emails before the wedding, to being there at every step on the day and providing the craic on the day two, we could not have faulted them, nothing was a bother. We have received endless compliments about the food and service on the day from the guests and it could not have went any better. We would definitely recommend this hotel for weddings, their new renovations are beautiful also.

Disappointing stay We booked a dining experience which was over €100 more than regular b&b to be told that there was only carvery available when we checked in, the day after New Year’s Day when the last thing anyone would want would be a carvery! We arrived down for dinner at half 7 to a restaurant that looked like it was closed not one member of staff knew what to do no one seated us not one drinks order was taken we ended up with what looked like leftovers that were lying all day, no offer of starters or deserts. We even had to order a takeaway to the hotel later that evening. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times but the service and food have gone seriously downhill

Lillies Restaurant Lovely decor very fancy I though food was good some in our group were a bit unsure Starters are bit pricy looking €9€10 etc Posh sausage roll like it’s just a sausage roll think was €9.50 Service was just ok staff are very young in fairness even the ones that act as floor managers in different shirts are young Nice staff but experience does helps forgot a few drinks and starters but just asked then they came Though bill was expensive but wasn’t in charge of receipt it’s hard when in a group to ask for it
