Be wary of pee soaked sleeper sofas My wife and I checked into this place because we had planned on taking our kids to a safari the following day. The suite we got had a sleeper sofa and later that evening when I decided to turn in, I opened it up, lay down and felt it to be wet, assuming that it had been cleaned right before we got the unit I didn’t worry right away, but there was a smell. I double checked, and it was completely covered from head to toe in urine. Adding a picture below. Called the front desk and there was no answer. Went downstairs to explain the situation and was told that the couch had to stay there because the person working there could not lift over 15 pounds (understandable) the couch was left there with the promise that after it was documented the manager would be in touch. We left the next morning, went to the Safari and lunch and had not heard back from the manager yet we went in to the front desk and were told that the manager was on vacation. Staff told us that there was no chance that the cleaning staff had missed this, but it must’ve been one of us that had done it. My wife explained that it wasn’t us and to say so was ridiculous after what we had been through. We were told that wasn’t possible and because we had spent the night no refund was possible. They also threatened to call the police on us. We called the health department and left.

Weekend getaway The hotel was nice. Decent gym for quick workout. Indoor pool/hot tub area clean without the overpowering chlorine smell that some other hotels have. Plenty of coffee available. Honored my online reservation floor request (ground floor room). Comfortable bed and clean room.

Needs to be updated Way over priced for a place that needs badly to be updated. Jacuzzi room needed maintenance. Staff was not friendly or helpful. No coffee available and waited to check out while desk clerk was sitting on a bench in front of the lobby glued to her phone.

Great location! So much to see in Lexington VA! It was fine, the sofa bed was only ok, but it was enough room for 5 people. My friend loved the pool and hot tub. Great location, so much to see, wonderful area to walk! We did the ghost tour and that was enjoyable.

Keep looking Ok location…. Sad room… TV’s don’t work (cable only works on 3 channel, and even then every 30 minutes it goes out) no artwork on walls, saggy mattress… Internet is low speed. way too much $ for too little. Staff didn’t care about issues. Keep looking
