Above and beyond during a terrible storm We stayed 3/31/23. The night of a terrible storm. Power/phones/internet all out. Water blowing in with such wind force it was coming through windows and doors. The owner and desk clerk I think her name was Darlene went above and beyond to try to make everyone feel valued and comfortable as possible. I will stay here any time I am in this area. Kudos to you all and thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of your guests.

Now less accommodating for us We've stayed here countless times over the years. I was trying to book a room for 3 nights on-line about a month in advance. Everything was coming up as non-smoking. I thought that's odd. They've always had smoking rooms in the past so, I called them. I was told, no....it's all non-smoking now. If they don't want to accommodate us, that's fine. We'll spend our money somewhere else. The type of room we've always gotten was a king suite, $100+ per night. That must hurt at least somewhat to see that walk on down the road, but oh well. I suspect this is a cost cutting move to cut back on the insurance rates more than anything. It was nice staying here over the years but, that has come to an end.

Compliment and Complaint The hotel appears new; the rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. We travel eight months of the year, spending four to five days in Litchfield every October. We are Diamond members of Choice and Hilton. Would I I stay here again over our regular choice of the Hampton Inn? I would not choose this hotel for three reasons: 1. The day the manager is rude. 2. The hotel did not have oatmeal, the only food on my husband's cardiac-restricted regimen that is available on hotel breakfast buffets. . The manager said they were out and it took a long time to order (Hello, there is an Alfis and Walmart across the street.) 3. The internet would not stay logged in to Wi-Fi during the day while I was working. The managers response? His Is working fine .

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE we Booked a room over the phone and once we got to the hotel the lady at the front desk was very rude and said we did not book a room. she was also very rude to the kids and was yelling at them to get off the couch! the bottom of the pool was very slimy. the bathroom did not have towels and asking the front desk for some she was very rude and finally after asking lots of questions she gave us some towels. the room was dusty and musty. the furniture was not good. I was happy to leave

Disgusting and Smelly Car broke down and was the only place with vacancy and I know why. Hotel smells and had to change rooms because she sheets were stained. First room Wouldn’t even lock, someone could easily break it open. Second room had cracked/falling down drywall. Smelled like mildew masked w cleaner. Desk chair was completely busted. Desk was sticky and not cleaned. I was close to choosing my car over this nastiness. Woke up way early to get the f out.
