Very enjoyable. Traveling solo with my dog. Every single employee I interfaced with was wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was consistently good (they even have gluten free bagels), and the outdoor dog areas are convenient and well cared for. I will definitely stay here any time we are in the area! There is a restaurant next door that is quite good and has a small, dog friendly patio.

Overcharged on room no resolution Warning booking a room here 6 months in advance does not guarantee the room. We have come to this hotel every year for 7 years to visit my grandmother at windcrest across the street. The location is great it turns out they "overbooked" and did not have the room we booked available even though it costs more than the room we got we explained the price they verified and confirmed we were right but said they can't do anything and the manager was on vacation starting today. Needless to say we canceled our remaining days and got another hotel that could hold a reservation. I will continue to work with corporate on the bait and switch and hopefully at least get my money back for the difference in room costs which I felt was fair.

Will use again Booked a suite for two nights. Everything was comfortable and as expected for a mid-range motel. Breakfast was standard waffles, eggs, bagels, etc (no bacon). Nothing to complain about. Will use this motel again when staying in this area.

A cold stay I’ll start with the good; for a chain the breakfasts are excellent and the breakfast area is very clean. There is plenty of hot water and comfortable linens and beds. Now the bad; our last visit last month the heat was not on when we got into the room and the thermostat did not work. We had to switch rooms. On this visit, the thermostat was off and the room was exceptionally cold as there was a snowstorm outside. We had to wear full winter jackets inside the room for over three hours before the room finally heated up to even a “cool” temperature. I understand Hampton may not want to heat empty rooms, but it seems to me when they assign a room, prior to check in. staff should’ve turned the heat back on hours before we got there. We have also been told that after hours there is no maintenance people available or staff other than the front desk staff.
