Nice bed, pretty good breakfast but the towels are thin and stiff. I would stay here again. The bed is pretty comfy and clean so that is a big plus. The fridge is bigger than most hotel fridges and has a small freezer section, so that is good. Breakfast is decent but the elevator takes forever. Dryer was broken so you couldnt use that and the pool is an outside pool with people from the Taco Bell drive through probably able to see you at the pool. Overall, I would stay here again but the hotel needs to invest in new towels. These towels almost hurt they're so stiff.

Serious mold exposure Me and my buddy were in town to support the Florida sheriffs youth ranches for the weekend. We spent two nights in room 225 and fell ill from the mold on the drive home this morning. It was so bad we had to pull off the road. Entire hotel smells like stale mold and should be inspected by the state. I will be calling around Monday morning to figure out how I can help stop others from getting sick in this hotel

A comfortable stay We stayed in a double Queen room. The room was surprisingly quiet being the one near the elevator and ice machine (they didn’t have another available and I was shocked I didn’t hear anything as I am very sensitive to noise) The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A bit high to get into if you are short and if elderly, would have to be careful not to fall out of if needing to use the restroom at night. All in all, a comfortable stay.

Great location and staff We have stayed here in the past and they have kept up with the hotel very well. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the staff was amiable and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located to I10 and the city of Live Oak. Although the unit could use a little TLC and some upgrades our issues were addressed quickly.

Just keep driving. Holiday inns can sometimes be hit or miss and this one was a definite miss. From the welcoming staff member who smelled as if she’d just smoked a pack of cigarettes before handing over my key to the damp stale smelling room. Floors were so dirty I had to wear my shoes when I walked around. The faucet in the sink wouldn’t drain and was dripping all night. The shower did not have any hot water. And the swamp cooler for an ac kept the room a VERY muggy 74. The only reason I gave this a 2 instead of a 1 is because the bed, although WAY too high and required a hand-up from my husband, was comfortable once I got in. The town itself has very little to offer other than a Walmart and a few gas stations. They did have a really good off the beaten path bbq called big wood bbq. Should you have the opportunity to eat there it might be worth the disadvantage of staying at this holiday inn …but probably not. Avoid. Disappointed I wasted my points
