Super quiet. Easy access off the freeway, and not far from anything in Livingston, although Livingston isn't that big. This place is well laid out. There are two elevators: one in front, and one in back, with luggage carts by each. The cleaning was perfect, the bed comfortable, and it was super quiet. If you have the time, downtown Livingston is an interesting place to explore and shop. There is also a nice park by the river.

Super helpful friendly front desk clerk. I gave this one an extra star because the front desk clerk working on Oct 9th in the evening was fabulous. Very polite, friendly, and helpful. The room itself overall was pleasant and reasonably clean. The air quality tested out poorly because of the dust. Housekeeping needs to clean above eye level better. Layer of thick dust on top of pictures, door frames, and headboards. Leftover aftershave scent that caused me to open the window. The filters on the ac unit were dirty. Depending on your sensitivity to dust, no heavy perfumed cleaning products at least.

Our "Go To Place" in Livingston Normally very pleased with this property. It's clean, beds are comfortable, and their free breakfast is good. However, we were somewhat disappointed this past trip since we had requested a first floor room because of our aging knees. We made that request well over two months ago. They didn't come through for us in that regard, and their lone elevator was not working, nor did it work at all the five days we were there. Fortunately it's only a two story property and our room was very close to the stair well. That did help to some degree. The staff here is very helpful and friendly and we'll stay here again in the future.

Avoid this motel- Avoid this place. They do not honor pre-paid reservations and, while the staff is very pleasant and tried their best, the manager undercut his staff. There are far nicer hotels for the money. This is not a pet-friendly place despite what they say and it is so close to I-90, no blackout curtains can keep out the sound and light. It is definitely no-frills-more like a 70s motel than an inn or hotel. As in a bar of soap, no hanging rod or pegs on the closet area, and a skimpy breakfast that was pretty much gone by 8. We spent one night in a regular room and then were moved to a pet-room and there was a distinct difference in the quality of the beds, the pillows, and bedding. I give zero stars for the manager and proximity to highway. One star for size of room, breakfast, quality and value for the price but the front desk and housekeeping staff are 5-star and the wifi and TV selections are good, which averaged 1.5 at best. I hope this review saves someone else the aggravation we went through. Managers can make or break a hotel. We just came from a mid-size 10-floor hotel in another western tourist town where the manager did not hide in a back office. Her office was open to the lobby. She saw every guest who came in the door and greeted them and learned names and their pet's names by the second day. Guests felt welcomed. The price was $90 a night less than YRI&S over the holiday. Look for a better value than this place.

Oldie But Goodie This hotel is a little older, but it is clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the price is a good value compared to other hotels in the area. For example, the a/c units are still by the window, and there’s carpet, but the bedding is all white. We would definitely stay again.
