Bear River Casino Resort and Vicinity Beautiful, peaceful setting on Indian land on a hill above the valley and ocean. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food with reasonable prices. There is interesting history in the area of the various native tribes in this region. The little town of Ferndale is close by. It has some charming Victorian architecture. In May there were many rhododendrons in full bloom especially in the cemetery on the hillside above the town.

It was nice to visit but I won't go back The room was very nice I booked online and it did not tell me that when I got there I needed to pay a $75 deposit so make sure you know that ahead of time the casino was kind of tight with the slots took more money than it gave wasn't very big and the food and the little cafe was really crappy I ordered a double burger and some fries the fries were cold and the burger look like it been on the bun for a while but I had already gotten back to my room so I didn't take it back the parking lot is nice and you can stay there in your RV for up to 3 days and there are several flat spots

Tight and uncomfortable Looking forward to a fun weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary the bed was the hardest rock we’ve ever slept on. I wanted to go home after the first night stay. Slots were tight as grandmas wallet. Second night was just as bad. Slots didn’t even allow us to sit and play awhile. I mean sure take our money but could we have fun while you do it? Back ache head ache. Definitely won’t return to this hotel. The room was cute and clean. Just hard as a rock bed. The restaurant was really good. Great food and service. The Ribeye is excellent.

Deplorable and what a dump with Trash personnel Personnel are incompetent, unprofessional and very likely hired off the street. Save your time, energy and $$$$…refrain from staying at this dump….AC in room was inoperable and front desk recommended I leave the hotel and find another hotel to stay…hence, I proceeded to leave hotel @ 10 pm.

Horrible Stay. My family stayed at your casino for the first time this weekend. My daughter and I surprised my husband and son in law with a fishing charter. What should have been a fun-filled, relaxing weekend, was not. First, One of your security guards in the casino asked my daughter for her ID. She produced it for him. He accused her of having a fake Id and would not give it back to her. He went over to the cage to get it checked out. Told her he was going to cut it in half if he deemed it fake. Another employee said it was real and gave it back to her. How humiliating and no apology was given. They need to be better trained on the security features to look for. 2nd, on Saturday night, my daughter called the front desk 3x because the people above were stomping and pounding all night. Was told they would take care of it and it still went on all night. We were suppose to wake up, have breakfast and gamble . We were going to stay till check out. They were so exhausted and grumpy, they left at 8 am because they had a 4 hour drive and wanted to get home to take a nap. I have called 3x and been told managers only work m-f business hours and also told all management is in Vegas at a training. Your business was apparently suppose to run with no issues since no one was left in charge to make sure customers were happy. $340 for a hotel that was not fun or relaxing. Management did reach out but did not seem to care. Said they would investigate and get back to me but never did even after multiple emails.
