Disappointing Booked for 1 night via 3rd party site. Confirmed booking with Dilly and informed them of birthday celebration. Checked in expecting something/anything ... nothing .. great start. Was offered breakfast .... for £25 per person .... we declined. Positives: Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Pool was big enough, although quite cold. Hotel in good location. Negatives: 5 star hotel where the door man doesn't bother opening the front door for you. (This wasn't just on arrival, but not once after we come in or out / checkout, bearing in mind the resolving door was out of order) Airconditioning unit rattles like mad (although did settle after 30mins or so). Chromecast TV that decides to turn itself off every 15 mins or so for no reason. Bathroom with bathtub and shower head only with NO hand shower head. Sound proofing in the room is good enough apart from the actual room door which allows all the sound from the corridor come in. Rooms are not like the marketing photos, but are dark and with creaky floorboards. This is by no means a 5 star hotel.

Excellent service and wonderful staff My best friend and I wanted to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea while in London, so we booked our experience at The Dilly. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and attentive. Hazel Vaz, who served us, was absolutely wonderful! She not only explained the menu in detail but also walked us through each item on our tray, sharing what they were made of. She even offered to take our photos, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our visit, she checked in on us regularly, making sure we had everything we needed, and later asked which dishes we enjoyed most. Hazel never made us feel rushed and managed to care for us while attentively serving others as well.
