Maldron hotel lucky to have a team like this I have stayed in plenty of good hotels but the team at Maldron Derry are on a completely different level. The building is lovely and the location inside the walls is perfect for seeing the city, yet the real magic here is the people. From the first minute you walk through the door you feel genuinely welcome and that warmth never fades. Every single member of staff was friendly, natural and proud of their city. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile and a bit of Derry humour. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being looked after by a brilliant family who actually care about their guests. The Maldron chain is lucky to have this team because they are unreal. They could teach many other hotels what true hospitality means. If you want a comfortable hotel in a great spot you will already be happy, but if you want to experience the kind of kindness and spirit that makes a trip memorable then this place is special. I will come back to Derry just to stay here again.

It was a beautiful hotel and the reception staff was even better. The hotel was beautiful but the receptionist that was on was amazing. Her name was Caoimhe and I couldn't thank her enough for everything she did for me and my grandparents. She was so lovely and answered everything I asked. I felt confident knowing my elderly grandmother and grandfather were safe and that really put me at ease.

Excellent Hotel and very friendly staff I had my wedding reception here on 29th January 26, the service from the day we booked to the day we left after our stay was oustanding. We had the pleasure of dealing with Chiree who was amazing, when i wasnt sure what i should be doing she steered me in the right direction. I would highly reccommend staying here or any future bride and grooms to book their wedding here. The food on the day was absolutely amazing and everyone was catered for. Caoimhe on Reception was also brilliant at accomdating all the guests and she was very pleasant to deal with.

Fantastic, can’t wait to return. Maldron hotel in Derry was a fantastic stay and where I will return to again. From the moment we arrived, Kadie on reception was so welcoming and attentive. Even placed a birthday card and chocs in the room for me. Gave us great advice on things to do, and it helped us to get the very best out of our short stay. Hotel itself was spotless. Comfortable beds. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel. I can’t wait to return.

Amazing stay Amazing stay, the girl on reception on the Sunday morning 4th January was amazing with us, as it was the day of the snow & we needed a taxi and local depots weren't answering but she was so persistent in trying and got us sorted
