Rocky Mountain Base Hotel We used this as our base “camp” for a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were here in early June and so traffic arriving to the Park was minimal and thereby our drive was about 45 minutes. For us the price was worth the time in the car especially since a lot of the drive time were wonderful views of the area. The hotel was typical. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast. There really are no “views” from the hotel. But if you are looking for a good hotel this is the one.

Nice place to stay. We stayed here twice in the past month. Always clean and a good breakfast in the mornings. Only downside is we constantly here people above us walking/stomping around. Other than that a nice quiet stay. Close to all the restaurants and things to do here in Longmont.

Wonderful stay We loved the fresh brewed and delicious coffees with several selections along with creamers that were available all day along. The hot breakfasts were wonderful and the beds were very comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy. We had a wonderful 4-night stay!

Over charged This place over charged me. I made a reservation at 111 dollars a night. Plus a 50 dollar deposit to get back after checking out. I ask when making the reservation for 4 nights what the total was with taxes and said deposit. I was told word for word that total was 541.00. After checking in, I later looked at my bank account. They were charging me 641.00 I inquired. I was told it was a deposit and that it was 100 dollars. All the sudden it changed ? This was never discussed when making the reservation. They would not honor what was told to me. The person at the desk could not even explain it well. I immediately checked out I don't think I will visit here no more. I work hard for my money and don't appreciate people playing games with it. Do the math, it doesn't make sense. Truly sad .... I will also warn others about this. Lost a customer. J. Hoots.

Good Hotel, close enough to Boulder. But needs more towels and towel racks This Hampton Inn has become our go to hotel for CU visits, due to price vs access to Boulder. However, as the price of Hampton's creep up into higher ranges, some things are really starting to annoy me. The lack of towels, two for two adults when one is a female? and there are NO towel racks for hand towels! Only a hook on the door for bath towels.... We can't just throw them on the floor as they have to be used for at least two nights! Hampton needs to step up their game, I've had more bad experiences in 2023 than the previous years combined and the prices have almost doubled!
