Hollywood Hotel

Dissapointed Tiny room for 2 adults and 3 grown up children. Website said 2 beds 1 sofa. There’s no sofa. It’s only a chair. No room no drawers to unpack. Tiny closet. Nothing fit there. The room is old lacking maintenance. Ants all over. The area is awful. Went for a walk once and came back to hotel quickly. And dinning area in room? You can’t even have room Enough to walk in the room. I can’t list every detail in room. It’s old and deteriorated.

Hotel OK but a little dated I requested for rooms to be near each other and was emailed that this was arranged for when we arrived, however when we got to the hotel we were curtly told that they did not have this on their system which I should them email confirmation but was rudely told there were no rooms near each other. Some of the reception staff that was on duty were not very helpful or friendly. The hotel is dated and the rooms we were given were ok, but when the air condition was on an awful smell filled the room so we had to keep turning it off. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not very good. The other room was plagued by ants which they sprayed. On a couple of occasions the maid just walked in to the rooms without knocking so be careful! They have a laundry room which we could wash and dry our clothes and an ironing board and iron in the room, there was also a small fridge but no kettle just a coffee pot. Where the hotel is located it is a bit run down although there are buses and the metro train station is near which was cheap and easy to get around. There were no actual restaurants that we could go to eat but there is a good Chinese buffet up the road that is very good, and if you ordered four meals they gave you another one free which we were giving to the homeless people around the area which were quite a few. We did not feel comfortable going out of a night so ordered take aways to be delivered to the hotel.

Keep looking Bathroom had sooooo many ants in the shower, toilet all over the floor. Had to throw hot water on a towel and clean them up was not pleasant walking into that and then having to go to bed. Rooms were run down.

Hospitality at Its Best, Thank You Yajaira! I had an incredible experience during my stay. The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable but what made it truly special was the service. Yajaira went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others. Thank you for the outstanding service!
