The Live Hotel

Great overall experience This place is great. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel breakfast was small but clean and had all the essentials. I’d definitely check out the Tom N Tom’s Cafe in the lobby for their pastries and drinks. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the layout of the rooms.

Clean and Good location The hotel and room is very clean and exceeded my expectation after being hesitant to book this due to the prior negative reviews I read. However I decided to book it and see for myself and I was very satisfied during my stay. The room have fridge, microwave oven, coffee machine, iron and ironing board etc. There is an ongoing renovation of the restaurant part I think(not sure:) The breakfast is very good to start the day of your tour activity. There are variety of options such as eggs, patties, pancake, toast, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruits, coffee, juice etc. Alternatively some days the eggs and patties are being replaced by croissant with ham and cheese. The pool is open but never went for a swim. The hotel location is close to public transportation such as bus and metro. And this has been an advantage to us, as we do not rent a car during our stay and rely on the public transportation. It may take around 8-10 mins. to walk to Metro B Lin and can say the hotel is very accessible to Universal studios, Hollywood walk of fame as you only need to take Metro B Line and no need to transfer or other tourist spot. If you need bus take Bus# 28 and it may take 2-3 mins walk from hotel to to the bus stop that can also take you to Koreatown, Angels Flight, Grand central market even Union station and from there you can transfer to Flyway bus to LAX too.

One of my worst hotel experiences Stayed for five days. Pros: Staff friendly. Cons: Room: musky smell, no microwave, shower shot water up to the ceiling and landed on the bathroom floor. Fridge was in the bathroom area! Breakfast was terrible: eggs and sausage patties not edible, cream for coffee appeared to be diluted, not much other options - bagels, sometimes mini muffins or small pastries. Hotel undergoing renovation, so the gym was closed. Could not wait in the lobby as the renovation resulted in a lot of noise. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. I have stayed at similar hotels before and the services were much better. I paid way too much for this poor of an experience!

TERRIBLE DO KOT RECOMMEND We are currently staying in the Ramada LA and it is disgusting. Been moved 3 times because of the mould and filth, customer service is rude and arrogant not helpful at all. Been here 5 days have asked for our room to be cleaned and it hasn’t been done. Asked for clean towels and nothing. You would expect better service when paying good money! So many people are complaining. Not happy at all

Room very nice and bigger than I thought Very clean! Seems they did a remodeling recently. Everything new and neat. Breakfast was really good with lots of varieties. Fresh made pancakes, my favorite pastries, eggs and sausage for my kids. Our family enjoyed the stay here and pool came out handy for the hot weather!
