EXCELLENT HOTEL My stay at this Comfort Inn was the BEST ever...anywhere. The staff were amazing!!! I was not in the best of mood when I arrived but that all changed within 30 minutes after arriving. I was tired and took that out on some of the BEST people I had ever encountered at any hotel. They offer a fantastic room with very comfortable beds with clean and well stocked rooms. It was very quiet in the room also. The General Manager, Michelle, made the stay unforgettable. She was very, very hospitable and did an excellent job of providing the BEST atmosphere for all that stayed here. This hotel will be one I return to in the future.

Needs and Renovation and a Good Cleaning. I stayed in this older Comfort Inn for a night in the Louisville area. I chose this hotel for the price and the location. This is an okay hotel for a one-night stay, but the area has newer and renovated Comfort properties. The rooms are huge and spacious but the cleanliness of the rooms is concerning. The carpet in the room was old and worn and there were also stains on the furniture. The furniture in the rooms is old and dated and needs an upgrade. The wall panel for the heating and AC was not working so I had to change the temperature right on the unit itself. The bathroom was as clean as It could get but I still felt that a good wipe-down with Lysol wipes was in order. There are some positives though, the price was good for the Louisville area, the wifi worked great, and the gym although on the smaller side had good equipment for a workout. If you are a business traveller or have a family with electronic devices, this room has no USB ports just electrical outlets, so you will need a charging block. The breakfast had hot and cold choices but I stuck to oatmeal and fruit since I simply wasn't in the mood for the hot items offered the morning I checked out. The property has laundry facilities and at the time of my visit, the washers and dryers were functional. The staff were friendly and I had no issues checking in out or out. This hotel needs a renovation and more detailed attention to cleanliness. This is a budget-friendly hotel but buyer beware.

Run. Avoid dealing with this hotel at all costs. We have stayed at hotels all over and never have I dealt with such disgusting behavior ever in employees in a hotel. If you are looking for a safe hotel in a safe location…stay far away from this one. Sad excuse for a hotel.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!! We have stayed at dozens and dozens of Choice Hotels and this one by FAR is the worst one we've ever had the misfortune of stepping foot in. This hotel needs to be cut from the chain because it doesn't meet the standards of a Choice Hotel in even the remotest way possible. First off, this is in a sketchy part of town to begin with. Second, my 6yr old son got out of the car and picked up a used syringe, right in the parking lot! My 10 yr old found a metal spoon that had been burned on the bottom - gee, what could that be? Third, the main reason we booked this hotel was due to it having an inside pool - Nope. It was broken or something and the man at the desk couldn't tell me when it would be fixed. They did NOT inform Choice Hotel, so therefor we had no idea. Walk into the hallway where our room was and it smelled heavily of perfumed carpets and what might have been old oil or something equally as unappealing. Get to our room and while it was older, it really showed wear and tear on it. Our king sized bed was broken; the head was at least a good foot lower than the foot of the bed. Sheets stunk, room smelled like sewer, poop stain in the janky toilet, bathroom had the heavy scent of mold/mildew. We went to complain to the front desk and witnessed the man and a wheel-chaired woman arguing with another family that had similar issues and decided it would be better to just call Choice Hotel directly. Well THAT went over like a lead balloon and the 'manager' who showed up wearing a baby across her breasts, sleeveless shirt and looking very unprofessional, informed us that she would NOT be refunding us our room, even though we had been there less than two hours and that we were lucky that she'd refunded us the second night. Sorry - long winded, but this really was upsetting. Avoid this hotel at all costs - seriously, you could end up with some disease or being accosted by the very strange and creepy people that were hanging out at the back of the hotel. Never again!!

Glass in your foot One of the male housekeeper was problematic, and it made me feel uncomfortable the entire rest of the time I was there, cocked and attitude with me for no reason because there was a dryer sheet left in the dryer on the third floor first weekend there we tell the front Dess that there is a glass in the pool. They close the pool to paint around the pool, and then re-open at the end of the weekend continued to found glass in the pool, the whole rest of the time we were there, not one piece not two piece but a handful
