Convenient and friendly reception Hotel has improved under Wyndham. It is perfectly adequate for short stays and the owners/managers are friendly and responsive to needs. The only downsides are a bit cramped for parking at peak fair times - and the window air conditioners can smell a little musty. But are very efficient!

Customer Service Lacking My husband made a huge mistake and was unable to cross the border. ( totally his fault). The hotel was booked through Expedia. When Expedia was called to cancel we were told that it was up to the hotel's discretion. The hotel refused to refund because their policy is that they require 24 hours notice. Totally reasonable, again it was my husbands mistake. However, it was a 3 day booking and the hotel was not willing to refund day 2 and 3 ( which they have received 24 hours notice). Unacceptable.

Hotel Tonight - Ramada by Wyndham Louisville Expo Center Do not stay at this hotel. The first room I was given smelled like cigarette smoke and the 2nd room's bathtub did not drain, forcing me to use the sink for bathing. Hotel Tonight should do a better job of screening participating hotels.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! Terrible is an understatement. Stayed with our Basketball teams for a tournament at the Expo Center. There are plenty of nice hotels next door, go there, save your time and don’t even give this location a second thought. Staff are all rude, disrespectful, and just plane LAZY. They are so lazy the employees park right in front of the door to the hotel so it makes it difficult to unload and to get through to the open parking. We were not allowed at all to access or use the tables in the lobby to feed 40+ girls during our whole entire stay, so we had to come up with other options which made it stressful on both the kids and parents. One of the only options we had, sadly, was to use our depressing and dirty rooms to eat both lunch and dinner. Rooms are disgusting. Very outdated, mold in showers, ticks found in beds and rooms, coffee pots in bathroom area (which had not been cleaned ever!!), vents that rattle and make noise all night, and even had an instance where one of the main outside doors to one of the rooms would just pop open for no reason and not close properly! (not safe at all!). When bringing up these issues we were told we were wrong and just got a whole lot of attitude with no resolution. One of the employees there (they were no name tags) that worked the front desk during the morning shift was out of control and rude. The employee threw a tantrum in front of our girls & coaches because she had to empty the trash in the lobby again. The employee threw all the trash on the floor and had another worker pick it up because that employee was tired of emptying it. Furthermore, this same employee was complaining about her job and how she wanted to quit. VERY unprofessional!! It did not get any better at the front desk at night either. The employee that was working some of the evenings/night shift was always on her cell phone, and once again was faced with attitude and rudeness when needing assistance. ALL staff that currently works there needs to be trained way better in customer etiquette. This location is definitely giving Ramada hotels a very bad name.
