Great Stopover I was in town to visit my son and attend a Texas Tech game, this was a great stopover for a night. I thought it was very clean and the staff was very nice. The breakfast selection was small, but you can't beat the overall value, perfect for those of us on a budget.

Decent and No Frills If you’re a no frills/low maintenance person on a budget and need a decent place to just lay your head and then get on your way again, consider Econo Lodge. It’s convenient to I-27... the southbound on ramp is literally in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good- wide range of everything except meats. Parking was ample and lot was well lit. We stayed on the side not facing the freeway, never heard the traffic and slept soundly. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was friendly. Four Stars only because of cosmetics. Several things looked run down. Our room’s window was cracked and the plumbing needs attention. Our sink drained slowly and the toilet needed two or three flushings each use. Hallway lights flickered and exit signs were laying on the floor. The back door to the hotel was missing the lock so was unlocked and never secure. The indoor pool was out of order when we stayed 2/28-3/1/2020. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

The place was a nightmare with nightmare Managerment This was one of the worst stays of any place in America that I have spent time over the last forty years. This all started with the night clerk who knew nothing. When asking directions, I got " I do not know directions to the hotel" This is shame less and not explainable. I then arrived after being lost for an hour, that same clerk told me nothing when asked about the Manager I got that same response " I do not know" The room was dirty from the start, the garbage was full, The bathroom has mold and the knob on the air was missing, the remote did not work at first until I fixed it. The Vending machine was empty and again I do not know was my answer. When I finally saw the shift Manager she wanted nothing to do with my complaints because I made them when I was leaving. This Manager was rude, nasty and ill tempered because I complained. I am seriously suggesting to anyone that will listen to stay away from this place. Complaints I meaning less to anyone there even the General Manager because he never called me back. This man could care less about the manner of the Hotel and how it is kept, or the staff that runs it. Please listen to me and stay away.

Should have stayed down the road. I am a hotel sales manager, so I hate to give bad reviews. However I was very disappointed when my son and I got settled into our room and the AC was not on so it took several hours to cool down (not a good thing in Texas) and then realized we didn't have any pillows on our beds. They had put 1/2 size THROW pillows in pillow cases on both beds. Major fail in my opinion and I had a terrible nights sleep because of this to say the least. It was also obvious that cleanliness was not important.

Disgusting Place check rooms Was on the road all day I arrived around 10PM was checked in and went to my room, I was tired went to bed and was awoken at 1:30 Am with the room guest next door puking slamming doors and people being loud I called the front desk to make them aware! Then the that morning when I woke up I found the sink dirty with hair the tub and bathroom were disgusting uncleaned and the towels had human hairs all over them and the shower mat was moldy. When I checked out I made the front desk aware of the room and told them that I was unpleased with my stay they apologized, customers should be able to have clean rooms and not worry about wether bed sheets were even changed! Will never recommend this place to anyone, make sure to ask to see the room before you get settled!
