Nice and clean with a decent breakfast again. Everything was spotless, nice walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious with a full-size couch. There were 2 HBO channels on the television. Breakfast was up to parr, finally someone at corporate got smart and they started making real scrambled eggs again. The hotel is plenty far from the freeway I don't think any side would be a benefit over the other. I'm still not thrilled Holiday Inn's points are higher than their competition but they have lower them a little of late.

Very poor experience I made the reservation for an extended stay online. I arrived late in the evening and checked in--apparently, when I initialed the check in card I agreed to rates that were $40/night more a few nights into the stay. It was buried on the form and not highlighted. I ended up changing hotels a few days in because my room had a moldy smell that actually made me check to see if i was actually in a smoking room. Another guest had mushrooms growing in their carpet. But, then I discovered the over charge. I contacted them and the local management refused to adjust it since I had initialed the form. I had also left a do not disturb sign on my room and housekeeping entered and cleaned anyway. The gym equipment rocked dangerously like it wasnt bolted to floor. Overall, just a really negative experience and a poorly run hotel. Moved to a different hotel and the rest of my stay was great.

Beautiful property and clean stay! Overall a wonderful stay in room 418. Clean, beautiful, well maintained and a comfortable stay. Olivia at the front desk was very kind. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! It was just as wonderful outside as inside.

Nice facility for one-night stay. Third floor room was clean and acceptable for a one-night stay. The people in the room above were very noisy and did not settle down until close to midnight. Facility did not appear to be insulated very well because the ceiling shook heavily as the guests walked non-stop across the room above. Recommend getting a top floor. Breakfast had something for everyone including both turkey and pork sausages, biscuits / gravy, cereal, and breads. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stay We stayed one night on a road trip. The hotel is situated in the southern part of Lufkin in an area with a couple of other hotels and close to US-59. Check in was fast and efficient and our room was clean and reasonably quiet, although some noise was heard from the surrounding rooms. The included breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn standard, although restocking of some items was slow. We found this hotel rather basic, but great for a short stay.
