Nice place to stay Hotel staff were friendly and the room was very nice and clean. The property is located in a quiet location even though it is near the highway. For the price, I think the value was excellent. Very close to town and places to shop and eat.

Needs work They originally put us in a room that hadn't been cleaned. My mom noticed several signs of uncleanliness and unkemptness around the hotel. The best thing they have going for them is customer service. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was sufficient.

Terribly Dissatisfied We stayed 3 nights and we were terribly disappointed with breakfast. It was one of their busiest weekends of the month and they ran out of some of the food items. When inquired, staff was not concerned at all. One of the staff members tried to blame it on COVID. So I let her know I do not accept that excuse because there were no other restrictions in place for COVID. I had to buy breakfast out because they ran out of everything that I eat. I am 63 years old & this is the first I ever stayed in a hotel that ran out of breakfast items. The towel rack was located in the oddest place, in the shower! There was plenty room over the toilet to hang the rack. The bathtub was extremely slippery. My husband slipped trying to get out of the shower. Needless to say, there are no plans to ever return.

A hotel that is poorly run and poorly maintained We were excited when this hotel opened several years ago, as it is the only hotel in Mabank. Having stayed at this hotel several times since it opened, we have witnessed a marked decline over the last several years. This hotel was once a very nice Comfort Suites and is now a marginal Quality Suites. The first impression comes as you approach the front entrance and you are greeted by a pile of spent cigarette butts on the sidewalk next to the front door, with many more strewn through the adjacent bushes. As you take your first steps into the hotel, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke lets you know the staff and/or guests are routinely permitted to smoke just inside the front door. In the lobby, large cracks in the wall show serious foundation problems and the lack of concern for regular maintenance. In the room, a sign on the desk tells guests that for health and wellness reasons housekeeping will not be provided unless guests are staying at least four nights. If the hotel were really concerned about health and wellness, employees might consider wearing masks. The bathroom door was so swollen from standing water on the floor that the laminate on both sides of the door was seriously cracked and peeling from the bottom of the door. The door would not even open and close without pressing with your full weight. Breakfast was also disappointing. Limited options, no fruit, and a broken juice machine. A sign on the microwave informs guests that due to shortages from their distributor, guests are limited to one microwave breakfast sandwich and one packaged pastry. The lone positive was that the bed and pillows in the room we clean and comfortable. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and I don’t plan to stay here again.

The couple who was checking out in front of us notified the manager they were calling corporate on the abisive staff I was confused at first but after one night stay I reported them as well. The women in this hotel are bitter and need lesson in ethics they have no class and seem uneducated.
