Comfort Inn & Suites Macon North I-75

Convenient but not awesome For the price, this place is OK, but not great. It's kind of beat and could really use some updating. The gal at check-in was pleasant, and they offered cookies at the front desk. Nice touch. Breakfast was offered from 6-9; we got there at 8:40 and were still eating at 9:00 when the lady who runs that area turned off all the lights as soon as the clock struck 9. I tried to thank her for her services, but she had her ear pods in and didn't respond. Oh well. I'd give this hotel a 2 star rating.

Not a clean hotel The short: Do not stay here!!! The long: Let's start with the good stuff, but read until the end. The front desk staff are helpful and accommodating. The room was quiet. The bed seemed clean and was comfortable.That's it Now onto 'why' the one star: If I'm going to share my room with multiple cockroaches, then please split room rate between us. In all seriousness, there's nothing quite as alarming as turning on a room light in the morning and seeing cockroaches scatter. These suckers were huge. And fast. And they could sort of fly. THAT'S a wake up call! Noticed a huge gap at the bottom of the room doors. Are they coming in from the hallway? Do they live in the venting? I don't care. I do care that one could crawl into my luggage or over me at night. Fix it!! It's disgusting. The hair stuck to the bathroom mirror did little to comfort me. The stain in the bottom of the tub was not inviting. The walls are old and look it. The carpet is old and looks it. The elevator makes me wonder if I might possibly get stuck between floors. Thought about eating the free morning breakfast, but wonder where else the critters may be. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to sleep elsewhere, take it. Unless you want company.

Driving through. Clean parking lot hotel lobby and room. They are friendly and the room was comfortable. Over night guy and lady in the morning at front desk very nice. Breakfast area was very clean and that lady wiped tables after each person left and swept the floor, she was great at her job too.

Old, dated and not recommended This hotel needs a complete remodel. The bathroom was in bad shape, with possible mold around the tub. The rest of the room was dingy and depressing looking, with stains all over the window and blackout curtains. Breakfast was awful, with not much selection. Also, there are trains adjacent to th hotel which woke us up at night. Very scratchy Kleenex, bring your own. On the positive side, the beds seemed clean, mini fridge worked great and the people at the front desk were friendly.

Fantastic stay This hotel was fantastic, with its modern amenities and being close to restaurants and highways. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was outstanding Nichole, Tracy and Valerie was very helpful and provided great customer service. I do recommend this hotel to anyone.
