Hampton Inn & Suites Macon I-75 North

Good Hampton stay Comfy and clean. Front desk personnel friendly, recognized me as a Hilton diamond member. Pool indoors and was nice. Breakfast good with plenty of choices. Very nice breakfast lady, checked to see if I needed anything else. Would stay again.

Just OK- Needs housekeeping help. Greetings- I stay at Hamptons quite often and this is a decent property. The location is convenient to the highway. There are at least seven or eight hotels right at this exit. Most are Hampton level or below. There is a surprising lack of restaurants within walking distance considering the hotels. The room itself was recently renovated and overall it was great. The flaw was that the previous guest's garbage had been left in the bathroom. That's a little gross. Speaking of gross, the fitness center was a mess. It is tiny. You have to walk through the pool area to get there. Once inside, there is a peloton that isn't connected to the internet. Because of the Hilton Internet landing page, you can't connect it to the wifi. This is a common problem at Hiltons with Pelotons, but it basically makes it useless unless you want to use your personal hotspot. If you do, your face will be inches away from someone walking on the only treadmill. Inexplicably, the treadmill and peloton face each other- overlapping a little. The treadmill is in desperate need of service. I'm 175 lbs and my footfalls stop the belt making it unsafe. There are no wipes in the fitness room. Not even an empty bag. Lastly, there were a ton of dirty towels wadded up against the wall. Breakfast was fine and the people at the front desk were very kind attentive. All this being said, I'll look for other properties next time I drive through Macon.

Not the cheapest place but worth it This hotel is convient to I-75 but still was quiet. There are multiple hotels on this road and was not the least expensive. The hotel gave me the expected quality I have come to associate this brand with. The room was comfortable and clean. I would have appreciated a much more friendly and helpful associate when I checked in, but another one came to the desk and was able to help me as well as being nice. Breakfast today had western omelets with salsa if liked- which is a plus! They had most selections that we see. The two associates working in the area both stopped to see if everything was good. Nice touch! They also had grab and go bags.

Great staff Very friendly. Room was clean. Bed was very nice and comfortable. Great location with easy freeway access. Breakfast had fresh fruit and real eggs which was a very nice surprise. We took our bikes to the room and the front desk staff was very helpful.

Worst Hampton Inn experience in a long time Worst Hampton Inn experience I've had maybe ever. After specifying our arrival time in advance, we arrived and were told our room was no ready. Actually, I think we were sent away because the housekeeper who was staffing the desk did not know how to check us in--they appeared to be short-staffed. Came back from dinner, and now there was a desk person who checked us in. We were them informed of a $25 "incidentals" hold to be charged to our credit card--no advance notice about that. (The charge was taken off when we checked out.) The reading lamp above the bed was missing a bulb. The clock on that table showed the wrong time. At some point in the night the telephone started making noises, and I had trouble going back to sleep. But...the facility was clean, the bed was a Hampton Inn bed, and the breakfast was a good Hampton Inn breakfast, so it could have been a lot worse.
