Employee Recognition Party I recently had the opportunity to use the Holiday In Express Conference Room Facilities, and I could not be happier with the experience. The newly remodeled entrance and dining area are the first things guests see when they enter, and it the space feels inviting. I worked with the Sales team (Deanna Jones) to get the area setup, and they were able to meet all of our requests. She also had some great ideas that really made for a terrific party. As the night progressed, we needed assistance from the front desk, and the hostess and staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you are hosting an event and need space, I would recommend reaching out to this facility.

Average hotel with room to improve. Our room was clean and comfortable, although we were able to hear road noise all night which was not restful. There were some minor irritants to our stay. We wanted to watch a particular television show (sporting event) but even though we asked twice at the front desk there was no list of channels available, so we just had to keep searching. The refrigerator was out in the breakfast room, so we had to ask for yogurt or cream cheese to be brought out from the kitchen. The first morning breakfast was not very good with the omelets, biscuits and sausages over cooked and dry. There was a different attendant on the second day and breakfast was better. The freezer in the hotel snack shop was not working, so there were no frozen foods available. None of these issues were tragic, just annoying.

Disgusting We stayed here for one very uncomfortable evening. The pull out couches are incredibly disgusting. They are stained, full of hair and crumbs. I absolutely refused to let my kids sleep on that mattress. They brought us a rollaway, which also had hair covered on it. It was absolutely disgusted with hopefully this place was. Would never stay here again, and probably never a Holiday Inn based on this experience.

Room Problems Was assigned a newly refurbished double room for handicapped on 4th floor. We are NOT handicapped. A terrible room for anybody, handicapped or not. Large window overlooking lighted storage areas had no functional window covering at all. Sink did not drain till we took out stopper. Counter was so small we could not put our toilet items on it. Only shower curtain. Bathroom door would drift full open against room door unless it was closed and latched. Did not have full set of towels for two people when we arrived. Requested some hand towels and wash cloths, but they never arrived. Housekeeping never made up or cleaned the room. Front desk staff was freindly and polite, but ineffective at resolving problems. Will never stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, convenient location Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff at the front desk were friendly, and having a store downstairs was convenient. Location is good... close to airport and Redstone. The area is somewhat walkable, though not as pedestrian-friendly as a city. There are plenty of ok food options in the area, suitable for business trip.
