Great Hilton in awesome location We stayed here for a 3 day stay, and I was very impressed. Front desk was super friendly, great location, very modern and nice rooms, we had spectacular views from our corner room. The pool was clean and hot tub was big. The lounge on the floor was very quiet and peaceful and everyone was very attentive and friendly in there. Nice big tv, nice bed and bedding. Only hiccups we had was our room key never worked to leave the parking garage, so they had to buzz us out from the front desk. Not a big deal though. Overall, great Hilton, and we will be back!

Hilton’s Inhumanity Toward Cancer Patients Hilton’s Inhumanity Toward Cancer Patients Imagine finishing weeks of grueling radiation treatment, walking into what is supposed to be a world-class hotel for a brief moment of normalcy, only to be denied a simple drink and mocked in the process. That is exactly what happened. Hilton staff showed zero compassion, zero common sense, and zero hospitality. Employees Sam and Andrew mocked a cancer patient, and Andrew went so far as to stick his tongue out at us (security video will confirm if released). This is no longer about “policy.” It is about basic human decency. A cancer patient, celebrating survival after radiation and attending a wedding, was treated with coldness, disrespect, and outright cruelty by Hilton employees. This is inexcusable. Hospitality is supposed to be about people first, not rigid, tone-deaf rules enforced by staff on a power trip. The lack of empathy was staggering. Guests around us were shocked and disgusted. Worse still, Hilton’s management response has not been to apologize or act swiftly, but to stall, deflect, and attempt a cover-up. This is why I must warn future guests—especially cancer patients, disabled individuals, and their families—that Hilton is not a safe or compassionate place. If you are fighting for your life or simply trying to reclaim a piece of normalcy after illness, you deserve respect, not mockery. The cruelty we experienced here should never happen to another patient or family. Their fight is hard enough. Don’t add cruelty. Compassion is strength. Mockery is weakness. Cancer takes enough—don’t take away dignity too. Yet Hilton’s failure to act swiftly shows a callous disregard for these truths. Equally troubling is the handling of this matter by Steve Hilton. Instead of urgency, Hilton leadership, under Steve Hilton, chose delay and deflection—signaling cover-up rather than accountability. Such disregard for the sick and disabled is as damning as the mockery itself, and it is clear that only new leadership committed to dignity, transparency, and basic human decency can begin to repair this stain on Hilton’s reputation. His responses to date suggest not genuine concern for the victim or the seriousness of the ADA implications, but a calculated effort to minimize and delay. That is unacceptable. Any senior executive who treats discrimination against cancer patients as a public relations problem rather than a moral and legal crisis has no business leading a hospitality company. I call for Steve Hilton’s immediate replacement with leadership capable of restoring dignity, accountability, and humanity to Hilton Hotels. Dr. Michael Duplessie

Amazing Stay!!! The Hilton made my boyfriends and I anniversary so special! They gave us a beautiful room upgrade and sent up champagne to the room! It’s right in the middle of downtown so it’s definitely a great location to stay at! Thank you to Maria from the front desk that gave us a great check in!

What a letdown. Great location Used to be a full service hotel. No more. No help with bags no valet. Staff seemed to try but honestly bit of a let down. 1st time back in a few years ,definitely degraded services In the room paper cups hot for drinks, a/c that just did not room not serviced at all for one night Executive lounge breakfast was really not edible. Mood on the fruit and the food was of such poor quality we gave up Comfy beds staff that are trying but overall a disappointing stay. Oh what has happened to the HILTON standards

I wish I could give it five stars :( I have some mixed feelings about this hotel. I always stay at a Hilton property. I found this one a bit disappointing for some reason since I will get into first off let me say this hotel is in an excellent location on Monona Lake the hotel even has a walkway with access to the lake And the community center.! The views from this hotel are absolutely beautiful! Let me add that they are not the only hotel down here on the lake you have options. They do have a restaurant on site with a very limited menu. The food was good not excellent. The staff is nice but not overly friendly like I’m used to at a Hilton. I asked them if I could use their helium tank to blow up a few balloons for a graduation party. Front staff casually stated she had no idea. So I continued to look at her until she said I will ask a manager and let you know. I then made sure she had my cell phone number. She never got back to me. There is no complementary coffee and tea here at this hotel you have to pay for it even just black coffee, which is also unusual for Hilton. There is no washer and dryer to use if you need to wash something. Again unusual for Hilton. this hotel also does not seem as clean as a typical Hilton. It’s filthy around the toilet in my bathroom when they came to freshen the room after two days no one bothered to vacuum I think this hotel is a little too comfortable with the fact that they are in a good location and by good I actually mean excellent they are close to the capital everything is within walking distance plenty of restaurants and coffee and you’re literally a block from the farmers market. They do it Saturday around the capital. But again, as I stated, there are several very nice hotels right here as well so you are certainly not limited to Hilton.Definitely not the caliber that I am used to from Hilton.
