A great pace to stay The room was ready according to my request. A room further from the elevator on the upper floor with a king-size bed. Air condition was working well, there was a special card used for AC working even if I was not in the room. The hotel even the room itself was furnished very well, I liked the interior everywhere very much. The bathroom was big enough, equipped with everything necessary. The shower was spacy but a bit older. The cleaning was perfect. breakfast included a large variety of food, eggs, bacon, lots of bread and sweet pastry, ham, cheese, fruit. The hotel is located 5 min from the metro station. The hotel was very quiet at night, so I could sleep well and long. Nothing really serious downsides. I would appreciate the bottle of water more often and not only on the first day. On the departure date, there was a long queue for breakfast, I had to wait about 15 minutes in the queue to get breakfast so that I had to eat very quickly to get the bus to the airport.

Noisy neighbour and inept management! Stay away. Beware the huge, noisy construction site next door ... my visit was ruined by it, yet the hotel 'management' accept no responsibility and think a few chocolates are adequate compensation for 2 nights' of poor sleep. If you need to sleep during the weekdays, don't stay here.

Amazing hotel. Stayed for 2 nights, visited the city and watched Bruce Springsteen. Hotel is fantastic, the staff were very helpful and great internet. Super breakfast with plenty of choice and we ate at the restaurant a couple of time and the food was lovely. We were lucky enough to have a suite and it was amazing, and would definitely recommend. Bruce was fantastic as well __

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Theft and Management Incompetence If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. My stay at Hotel Elba Madrid Alcala was an absolute disaster. My high-end makeup items were stolen right out of my room by the housekeeping staff. These weren't just replaceable drugstore items; they were valuable products, small enough to be easily taken without immediate notice but worth a significant amount of money. When I reported this to hotel management, I was met with utter indifference. The manager, Romain Chesney, didn't give any solution to the situation. No apology, no compensation, no attempt to make things right. It's as if they couldn't care less about their guests' security or satisfaction. This level of negligence and disregard for guest property is beyond unacceptable, especially for a hotel that touts itself as a four-star establishment. It makes me seriously question their standards and integrity altogether. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of other hotels that will actually care about your experience and ensure your belongings are safe. This one certainly doesn't.

Hotel Elba Madrid Alcala continues to be our go to Madrid destination!! An excellent stay. This is my fourth time staying in this hotel and it continues to shine. The Elba team does a great job of running this property efficiently while insuring a welcoming atmosphere with great attention to detail. We stayed in a suite and recommend one if you're traveling as a couple and want a bit more room to spread out. This property has two suite configurations and both have much going for them. There's a room divider (sliding doors) configuration that has a closet to die for as well as a multi-stream high-tech shower (along with a traditional shower/tub combination. The second configuration connects the bedroom and living room with a hallway and a traditional bathroom setup. This configuration is a bit better if one of the travelers needs to work and not disrupt the other (even a little). Both have televisions in both bedroom and living room areas, mini bar, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Linens and towels are as excellent as one would expect in a four-star hotel in a major city. The neighborhood is not oppulent but that adds to the charm. There's two to three dozen restaurants and bars nearby ranging from two highly rated restaurants (one Italian and one Peruvian) and all in-between (for Americans and Canadians, there is a KFC, a Burger King, a Taco Bell, and a Tim Hortons all nearby if you should crave fast North American food.) There are two Metro stations nearby and both are on line five. Travel to the Ventas neighborhoos (bullring, bullfighting themes taverns, and assorted shops) is less than ten minutes by Metro. The center of Madris is about twenty minutes by Metro. There is a great 100+ year old park (Quinta de los Molinos) a couple of blocks away with ample open space and trails should you need to decompress. Highly recommend this hotel as our go-to property when in Madrid!!
