Go elsewhere Well when we got here the elevators were out. Stood there for 10 mins before we ask what was going on. Room was ok. Damp floors and no hair dryer in room. Also the maid service did not clean well since we found a drawer full of half eaten chips and garbage. Fan in bathroom doesn't work either. There is a whole in the tub which they repaired by putting a rubber mat over. Would not recommend!

Not room 107 Do not let them give you room 107 if you are a lite sleeper. It is next to the office and the night man made so much noise. Woke me up at 11:55, I didn’t get back to sleep until 3 a.m., then woke me up again at 5:15 when he was preparing the breakfast. So needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. The day shift people were very nice, the beds and pillow were wonderful for what little time I got to use them. The rooms were clean and fresh. My only complaint with breakfast was the orange juice was water down. Being from FLORIDA we know what orange juice should taste like. _

Good choice not what is pictured. I will tell you this it is not like what you see on the pictures. However, if you downgrade the pictures to an old motel that's been remodeled a little bit, then you get the picture. However, even though it wasn't like the pictures, it was a good stay. I will say it definitely has cleanliness going for it. I will say it definitely has cost-effectiveness going for it. And I will definitely say customer service is awesome here. I really should give this place average because the pictures are so different from what you actually get. However, they do have a pool and a jacuzzi. It's small but heated and indoor. I believe that Jacuzzi could use some more powerful Jets. It worked okay, but it definitely needed some service. I think the heat could have been just a little better on both the pool and in the jacuzzi. There is a way to almost go fully there indoors. It's to the back of the motel. I thought that was a better way to enter than going straight in. Especially on the colder days. I never woke up in time to eat breakfast. I heard it was a good breakfast, nothing fancy, but from the guest, I talked to average. I had no problem getting extra towels from the maids or other items I needed. I feel all the way around this is a good quality Choice Hotel. However, do not go by the pictures. I think you will be badly disappointed if you expect it to look like those pictures. I'm sure Travelers will include their photos to bring it down a notch. My only complaint is that the mattresses are very hard and the pillows are very small and lumpy and not very supportive. I would suggest that if you like firm pillows, bring your own from home. I would suggest that if you don't like a mattress being very hard, you might want to stay away from this hotel. I actually have a hard mattress on purpose at home, but this mattress is even harder. Maybe since this is a frequented hotel, the mattresses will get broke in and get a little softer. I think another drawback of this hotel is that the doors do not fit well. I heard people walking outside, and it was very noticeable. Walls and floors are very thin here. Overall the very restful place to sleep until the kids get going to breakfast.

Rude staff I would not recommend this place. We come to Maggie Valley about once a month and this is probably the worst experience we have had. When booking the lady in the phone was super nice and said if you happen to arrive early go ahead and stop in because usually rooms are available after 1:00 ok great. So we arrive around 2 and go to the hotel the lady at check in is super rude and says check in is promptly 3 pm ok no big deal I said I was just checking she then again very rudely says I said promptly 3 pm. We leave come back at 3 and was then told your room is not ready and I don’t know when it will be. I stated she told me promptly 3 pm she says oh well it’s not ready you will get it when it’s available. No refunds were available or right then I would have went elsewhere. After finally checking in the kids want to go to the pool, it is freezing in the pool area felt like no heat at all. We go to get in the hot tub and it is cold as well. The staff would not do anything about the issue. Came down the next morning for breakfast at 8:00 am and hardly anything was there I went to the front desk and asked if they could add some bagels or if anything else could be put out to rudely be told again we put it out at 7 am and what is there is what you have we do not fill it back up even though breakfast doesn’t end until 10 am. Needless to say for the price you pay here you can stay somewhere better with staff that actually care about the customers.

This Inn's management/owner should have done a better job by not having verywet room floors The desk clerks morning and evening were helpful and friendly. The room floors were very wet and room smelled musky. The desk clerk offered to move us, but I said we would live with it. The second day, and the third check out day the floors were still wet. The hot breakfast was eggs and sausage which was good. The waffle was ok. The orange juice looked like cloudy water. Did not see orange. The best part coffee was provided in carafe mostly all day +++ Mr. Patel should never provide wet room floors to customers. They should be fresh smelling and clean, without excuses. The desk clerks, and hot breakfast with fresh coffee made up for the bad.
