Nice hotel, but: Nice hotel. Clean and fresh and the room was fine, but: The TV didn't work and after my wife and I trying everything we could think of, we called the front desk - 4 times - with no answer. On the 5th try (over an hour) someone finally answered and immediately put me on a "brief hold". 6 minutes later I gave up. They did comp our breakfast (not normally included) after a short interrogation, to confirm I had a valid complaint. I'm hoping this was a one off and a casualty of the neurotic labor market.

Right by K-State All in all a good hotel. Clean and cared for building. Our room was comfortable. It's an older hotel so it has some different set ups. Unusually that the doors to the rooms open out into the hallway. Great location if you want to be by KSU campus or Aggieville.

Nice and pleasant! Located conveniently across the street from Kansas university. Good customer service and my room was spacious with 2 queen beds and and a bathroom- There was a small closet for storage and a desk to be able to sit and get some work done at. Beds were comfortable- and about a 45 inch flat screenTV appeared to be in Good working order with a microwave and a Keurig machine. Thank you Holiday Inn for a pleasant stay!!

Lousy AC didn't keep the room cool in the summer The air conditioner barely worked and the room was hot all night, plus the unit sounded like a freight train running. It was in the summer so was hot outside, but it was cooler outside in the morning than it was in the room. The desk clerk was very helpful, but there was nothing she could do.

Better Options This hotels is very old and I felt our room was marginally clean. I was very disappointed in condition. We woke and had ants in our bed and promptly checked out. The front desk personnel told us that the ants come from the vines growing up the building and knocked 50 dollars off our bill which I appreciated the quick response. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and K-State. Overall, I would not stay at this property in the future.
