Clean, quiet, cozy My 1st impression was that it was too small a room. 15 days in Germany means big suitcases and lots of souvenirs. However, my 1st impression was wrong. The bed was large and comfortable, there were night stands on each end. There was a desk and tv on the wall, as well as a wardrobe and another small stand. The suitcases fit well on top of the wardrobe, keeping them out of the way. The a/c working exceptionally well. It was pretty hot in Mannheim. My only issue was the shower. It had a big showerhead and a hand sprayer, but no door. Had to use all the hand towels on the floor. Wifi worked great, except on weekends it was a little slower, but not enough to be a bother. Breakfast was good, and not too pricey. They have a tap if you want a beer at the end of the day. There are a few parking spots in front of the hotel. Train station is a couple minutes one way, watertower a couple minutes the other way. Tram line and grocery store (Lidl) right behind the hotel. Windows open in the room. The elevator is very small if you have large luggage. Everyone was friendly & polite. Most speak English well. Good hotel!

Perfect if you need to take the train This hotel is within walking distance of the train station which was very convenient. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. The desk clerk was a bit frazzled but pleasant. We did not take the breakfast.

Good value hotel At first sight this hotel doesn't look like the best choice you can make. Just spend a day and you'll change your mind though. Rooms are clean and comfortable, although not too big. The staff is super kind; always ready to help. The breakfast ia somewhat limited but you actually have more than you need for a good breakfast. Location is great as it is walking distance (about 10min) from the Train station and about 20 minutes walking from the Rhine river. Prices are ok and in general Mannheim is cheap. I recommend this place, big time.

Great value and exceptional service I stayed at the hotel for four nights for a conference. The hotel has a very high quality to price ratio: a large and nice hotel room and comprehensive facilities. More importantly, the service of the hotel is exceptional. Not only do they have very delicious breakfast but also extremely friendly and attentive staff members. One particular example is that I forgot to leave my hotel room keys after I checked out, the hotel staff members went all the way to Frankfurt airport to get back the keys from me. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Clean and quiet. This hotel is close to the train station. The room was clean and quiet. Front desk people were very helpful. Short walk to the water tower and city center. Nice breakfast that was relaxing. I would stay here again.
