Not worth it, unless you like damp, moldy experiences. Avoid this place unless it is your only option. We were on a trip to Copper Harbor. Decided to stop in Marquette for the night. We like to go to the Casino so I picked this hotel because the Casino website suggested it. If you want to go places downtown Marquette, the location is pretty good. The hotel setup is odd. It's in two buildings, maybe we were in the older non updated portion, not sure. The hallways were drab, we got into the room and it felt a little better. Until you look closer. I opened the cabinet holding the microwave and fridge and it just stinks. Smelled like someone ran a marathon in 90 degree heat and put their socks in their and closed it up for a week. The bed was quite low to the ground, not the end of the world, but the night stands were higher then the bed so when I reached over I would smack my arm on the ledge of the stand. I guess I should be more aware of my surroundings? The carpet felt "thick" that's the best way I can describe it. It was damp, and you could feel the stickiness of the years of usage. It's been in place for many years I believe. Ok I can get past some of this, but it just keeps going. The shower had very little water pressure and did not keep a steady temperature. When I got in the shower I noticed several curly hairs around the top of the tub. Neither my husband or i have curly hair. I realized in the shower that I don't have shampoo. What I have is one full conditioner and one half full conditioner. I poked out of the shower to make sure that I didn't have shampoo. Nope. After getting out of the shower I took a towel to wipe up the excess water that I got on the floor. We didn't where shoes in the bathroom nor were we in the bathroom that many times. We arrived to the hotel at around 6 and left about an hour after that, returning after 2am. So we barely used the room. The towel was so gross after wiping the floor! I would not recommend the ice maker, it was really cool looking, straight out of the 70s. Unfortunately there was mold on the machine on the outside, I'd hate to see what sort of hairy monster is on the inside. The place needs updating. The a couple of windows on rooms next to ours were pushed in. I felt that it was disgusting enough that I did make a report with the local health department.

Not great This is place is very beaten up and dated . We were in the annex and I felt like I was in a bad dorm room . Staff seems lovely but that can’t make up for the dingy room , loud AC and nasty carpet . Seems really overpriced for what it is . Location is a saving grace as you can walk into town.

It Was Overpriced It was an ok stay for an expensive price. Pool room was really loud, clean enough, no breakfast included.

Lee and K. The restaurant menu was lacking so we ate somewhere else and the bar was closed waiting on a liquor license but the rooms were fairly clean and remodeled. My wife and I were extremely disappointed that there was no free continental breakfast (we should have looked closer on the amenities when booking.)
