Pleasant stay We had quite a pleasant stay here. The view was great, the room was clean and the nights were quiet and peaceful. It was fun and safe for kids to play in the room, while I could use the desk to work. Nice area, very close to the airport. When we visit to St. Louis we will be happy to book again.

Just gross The place was filthy. The elevator's carpet didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. The room smelled of urine and mold. The bathroom had visible mold and gunk in the tub and was stained; something was pulled from the wall leaving an unrepaired, unpainted hole; and the hairdryer was hanging from the only towel hook on the back of the door. There were large bits of the furniture laminate missing; a bedside lamp was missing; and the carpet was stained. All of this was noted in the first 2 minutes in the room before we left in disgust. We were willing to overlook a little construction dust in the lobby area, looks like they are renovating half of the hotel, but there was no mention of construction when making the reservations and the state of the lack of cleanliness speaks to habitual lack of care.

Yikes I cannot recommend this hotel at all. It's just dirty and gross. The carpet in the hallways are dingy, very worn, and stained all over the place. The halls are a weird color and they don't look like they've been painted in a long time. The rooms are run down with paint chips and dings all over the cheap furniture. The air conditioning unit is one of the really old, noisy ones. The bathroom is dark with a shower head that looks like its very, very old. The grout in the shower is very cracked, giving it a dirty look. The sheets on the bed are super thin and rough like sandpaper. Breakfast was supposed to go to 9:30am, but at 8:20am, there were no hot items at all. The trays were all empty. Also, the elevators are banged up beyond anything I've seen before, are very slow and old, and make weird noises. I was always a little afraid to use them. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the location. We stayed here one night only because of the closeness to the concert venue. Which reminds me, on the way to the concert, we took the hotel shuttle. The gentleman driving about 7 of us stopped on the busy drive between the hotel and the ampitheater to remove baricades that would slow down traffic. He stopped right in the middle of the street, with cars coming from behind us and to our left, without turning the hazzards on. He was out of the van for about a minute to a minute and a half moving the baricades. One of the other passengers thought to lean forward to turn the hazzards on for hm while he was out. This is just not safe. That needs to happen with the driver pulling into a parking lot and no other passengers in the van. Also, the van was extremely old, holes in the ceiling, and the handle to open the door from the inside was all taped up with what looked like medical tape. We ended up walking back after the concert instead of waiting for that shuttle again. The entire hotel experience, including the shuttle ride, was just shady. I would never, ever stay here again.

Try somewhere else From the first time we walked in, I knew this was trouble. The receptionist was NOT friendly, one room outta three wasn’t booked even. They did give us a room, but ugh gross. Do some upgrading. We wanted some where close the airport and the a ride. The van was even scarier, Geeesh it was disgusting. Never again if it was so close to airport. Nope nope nope
