No longer Hawthorne or Wyndham. Do not stay here DO NOT STAY AT Craigshire Suites - Maryland Heights MO. They are just on the legal side of a scam. They used to be Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham but have since separated and are independent. Even though they have changed many of their policies and amenities It has not stopped them from using all of the same pictures and information. They no longer offer any breakfast of any kind, they don't stock the rooms with dishes, cups or flatware. We had to ask for sheets and pillows, (day 4 of our stay, still no pillows.) We had to change non-smoking rooms twice because we could barely breath from the smoke in the first two and no pool. The furniture is covered in stains, the seat covers are in tatters and there are fleas. They have NO official website so they are able to deny everything that they list in third-party booking services.

Terrible... Just Terrible First of all, you have check in with a kiosk in the lobby. The guy that I got could not speak English very well and the volume was so high, it was just noise. Finally got checked in but there were no directions on where to go for the room. I went to what I thought was my room and the keys wouldn't work. Went back and got new keys. Tried again and wouldn't work. Finally asked the front desk if I was at the right room and she said "no, it's in another part of the complex" _ Evidently these rooms are rented by the week/month because there were kids running around everywhere. They kept it up until after 9:00 right outside my door. The room was relatively clean but the furniture had stains and the bed sheets were very worn. I was walking around in my sock feet and found water in the carpet leaking from a water heater. In case you are wondering, I did leave a note about this. The lobby did not open until 8:00 so I couldn't tell anyone at the front desk. This whole complex is trashy and not kept up very well at all. Obviously, I will not stay here anymore and I would suggest anyone that wants a relatively nice place to stay, stay away from here!!

Not Good I was going to stay here but the person I spoke to over the phone lied about being at the front desk, so I canceled. Would have gladly stayed, but it was a sham. Seems like a sketchy operation if they can't even connect you to someone at the front desk.

I have significant concerns about this as a hotel. I stayed by myself and did not feel safe. The area surrounding the units was littered with garbage, including someones random shoe and a discarded baby formula tin. There were no outside lights to offer safety as I found my room on the back side of the building. I asked for non -smoking yet the room reeked of cigarettes...the smell would get worse each time they smoked in adjacent rooms. There was no cold water in the kitchen...choices were warm or hot. There were stains on the couch cushions and a cigarette burn in the chair. There was mold in the bathroom, make-up encrusted on the blow dryer and the door to the bathroom was dirty. When I first arrived I couldn't get the deadbolt to engage and had to slam the door shut to finally get it to stay. I slept with a chair pulled in front of the door. The other units are clearly being lived in rather than being used as hotel stay or week long resort stays. I saw a mom walking her child to the bus stop and oxygen was being delivered to the unit next to mine. The only decent thing about this place was the mattress was decent.
