Comfort Inn Maumee - Perrysburg Area

Comfortable, Clean & Convenient -- What More Is There! My husband & I were on a cross-continental trip with our dog. The pet friendly hotels in Toledo were pricey but then I found this property (through TripAdvisor, of course!) We got a good rate as Choice Privilege members and it had everything we needed. It was easy to find, easy to park, and the front desk staff were welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. There's a park next door to walk the dog, which was handy. We didn't have time to use the pool but breakfast hit the spot. AND there's a great family-style restaurant, La Fiesta, just a block away, with a nice variety of vegetarian options for us. A win-win all around!

We've Stayed Here Before and are Back Again! Older Facility But Fine The Comfort Inn in Maumee OH is an older facility but its fine....maybe time for an update, but everything worked well, was clean, and the people were great. Janet checked us in efficiently and made sure everything was taken care of for our stay. Chuck was on in the morning, and seemed to juggle everrything....breakfast (which is on the second floor so he ran up and down continually) check outs and any questions. There is a great field out back and places to walk in the neighborhood. Frickers is right near by as is Red Lobster, which is great......gas and car wash nearby too. We'll be back again, I bet! Thank you.

Icky If my dog were with me, I'd have went somewhere else. I would never let him walk on such filth, as the carpet in my room was sticky, stained and disgusting. The rest of the room was equally gross. The only good parts were really the only thing I was concerned with, the mattress was good, sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. If you're looking for a swimming pool, don't come here. The pool is closed and of course, they blame it on Covid. CHECK YOUR WINDOWS IF YOU'RE STAYING ON THE FIRST FLOOR. For some reason, they were left unlocked. Though not the worst place I've stayed, I would never recommend this location. Choice Hotels used to be consistently clean and comfortable, but they have gone way downhill here lately. Quality Inns lack quality and Comfort Inns lack comfort. This was my last attempt at a decent Choice Hotel.

Good Enough The hotel and room were decorated nicely. Clean & modern-looking, typical Choice Hotels property. The room rate was good, although don't like making non-refundable payments in advance of actually reviewing property. Assume policy exists due to nearness of freeways & Ohio turnpike location, other properties in area. Bed was comfortable. Television worked well. Ice machine worked well. Wi-Fi signal good, although of course not secure. Breakfast area was nice, unusual location. (Watch your first step into the hallway!) No insects observed, bed or otherwise. Property quiet, this was a weekday stay. MAJOR CONCERN: Online reviews report doors to outside propped or left open are correct. Direct hallway access doors, no 2nd, interior door.Witnessed security lapse firsthand. Side door propped open using "wet floor" cone, bright yellow and a bright, red flag. Camera system won't reveal who belongs in a room/hallway or not, cameras weren't regularly monitored by staff at front desk. (Who probably don't have time.) Housekeeping cart & another item left in front of open closet on 2nd floor, partially blocking hallway entrance by breakfast area at top of stairs. Observed guest bump into it. Cart remained entire stay. "Do Not Disturb" sign not available for door. Puddle of water, bottom of refrigerator. Maybe recent defrost. Appears to be only one direction or entrance from which parking lot may be accessed from Reynolds Rd. The city is forcing many u-turns, not hotel's problem.

Clean and comfortable This Comfort Inn is in a convenient location, close to the Ohio Turnpike. We stayed here for 2 nights so that we could visit the Toledo Zoo on our way back from Chicago. We had stayed here before previously, so we were familiar with the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave as well. The hotel offers free breakfast in an area on the second floor. We had scrambled eggs and sausage. Other options were muffins and a variety of cereals to choose from. The woman working in the breakfast area was very friendly and did an outstanding job. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.
