Mike is very helpful! Maumee is roughly an hour from my house, but coming from the Wheeling area and needing to be in Fort Wayne the next day, it made sense to spend a night rather than driving up and coming right back down. I had called Mike asking if I could check in around noon since I had to immediately head to downtown Toledo after. He said it was fine, especially being a platinum member. I get there, and it’s Mike, with keys and paperwork ready for me. Props to him! I dropped off my luggage in the room then immediately left. Hotel is right next to the Turnpike off Reynolds Road. It’s a slight hassle to get to. If coming from the south it’s better to enter off Dussel. Came back around midnight and it’s the larger room. Not a suite, but there is a sitting area. Everything was clean. TV had a decent selection, water pressure in shower weak. Slept well which is the main thing. Checked out around 8- that was smooth too. There is breakfast available but you have to pay. There’s also a pool (no hot tub) but I didn’t have time to use it. If needing another stay in the Toledo area, this is one I would consider.

Close, but some work on the details needed! A solid 3.5, this Holiday Inn is conveniently located off the Interstate in the suburbs of Toledo. Our room was clean. However, a few issues including the fridge outlet being broken. We moved a fridge in from another room. Appreciated being able to do that since we did not want to move our party of six room to room. No apology or thanks though. Shower pressure was probably the weakest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The front desk worker was having a smoke while someone was waiting to check out. I did not swim, but my kids did, they felt the water was not the cleanest. Those things do matter. I liked the location and the cleanliness, but the details really impacted our stay!

Nice updates Rooms are nicely updated. Comfortable beds. Clean room. The only reason the score was not higher is because the A/C was not wiring. To be fair, we didn’t address at the hotel because we were only there for one night. Super convenient to the interstate.

Pleasant Stay, breakfast was a bit of a letdown though. Visited with my 5-year old after attending a Girl Scout event at the Toledo Zoo. After a full day out in the sun, driving over an hour home just didn't sound fun. So we opted for a hotel stay. Chose them due to their proximity to the zoo (about 15 mins away), and that they have both a pool & on-site restaurant. The room was good; comfortable bed, clean, cool, we slept fine. No noise issues on the 5th floor. I did notice the rest of the hotel was at a very warm 85, I think the thermostat in one of the halls said. With the heat wave going on, that seemed a little insane, but our room itself was quite cool. We loved that the pool was also nice and cold. Only complaint with our room was that we couldn't get the tv to turn on. I suspect the remote needed new batteries, but by the time my 5-year old was trying the tv I was trying to get a shower and get ready to leave, so it didn't seem worth looking into. My main complain was with the restaurant on-site. We did dinner with them, and it was lovely. The menu is kind of upscale, the wait staff/bar tender was fantastic, and I LOVED the pork chops. Really great experience. But then we did breakfast with them the next morning....and it just wasn't the same. Breakfast staff wasn't attentive, it took a good 10 minutes to get someone to bring my 5-year old the kids menu. Then when she went to order, she orders the oatmeal, and the waitress acts like she's spouting nonsense. I had to point out that its one of the selections on the kids menu....apparently she had never looked at the list of items on their menu, but they don't actually do oatmeal. I got the 2 egg breakfast, with potatoes, toast and meat. Its the one pictured in their elevator, but the picture is just a lot more appetizing. Despite the picture having 2 slices of toast, you only actually get one. Then when we went to pay, I notice the bill has $5 for a side of bacon, despite the menu saying its $4. I mentioned it to the waitress, and she did take off the $1 difference, but she also let us know this happens all the time..... And apparently they don't mention it, & haven't bothered to either change the code they are ringing under or reprint the menus. They just know they are charging you an extra $1 and I guess hope you won't notice. Breakfast felt....shady & really felt like they were trying to give you as little as they could get away with... Aside from that, the stay was nice. I just wouldn't do breakfast with them again.

Stay for dance competition Freddie and Mary at the front desk were very friendly. 2 Queen room with sleeper sofa was spacious worth the extra money. Bathroom has 1 sink but was clean. Beds are comfy, however there was one hair on 1 of the beds. The restaurant had good burgers. The bartender,Linda was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service all around. Only complaint is the restaurant doesn’t open until 7:00 am. No free breakfast. Overall this was a clean and comfortable hotel. Also great location. Would stay again
