Wow What service Wow Wow, I have never been treated like how the staff treated us. It was like we are family. The manager, The manager,Enrique Partida, was always friendly and made us feel relaxed as if we were staying at his house. The young lady who worked the 2nd shift was always ready to help us with a smile. It was like we WEREN'T bothering her for help. Always with a smile. Even the lady who was in charged of setting up breakfast always greeting us with a Good Morning. Enrique noticed I was struggling with my wheelchair since I was carrying a backpack and he helped push me in my wheel chair to the car. Enrique said that when we come back and want to stay at this StayBridge to call him and he will reserve the same room which is a handicap room. We couldn't ask for a better stay that we experienced at StayBridge Hotel in McAllen TX. Excellent Staff, clean rooms and a very good Breakfast. Muchas Gracias

A very average stay The Staybridge Suites McAllen is very close to the airport which was fortunate since my flight was delayed and my arrival was well after 11pm. What was not fortunate was that no one was at the front desk to check me in and provide a room key when I arrived. I searched all over the first floor but found no one that could help. I called the phone number provided on the sign left at the desk but it just rang endlessly. Finally after 10-12 minutes a man appeared from down the hall. At this point I was quite unhappy and he apologized for being absent but no compensation was offered. The room itself was fine enough but there is no maid service at this time. The breakfast provided was average and I found the large TV broadcasting Fox News during the breakfast period offensive. With all the hotel options available in McAllen I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

Great place for business travelers Have visited 5 times between 2017 and now. Always happy to see you. They will also do whatever they can to make your stay better. Julio, the owner, takes an active role in all that goes on. 1/2 mile from MFE with a shuttle. I always drop my rental car off the night before. They bring me back and then bring me to the airport in the morning. The manager’s soirée is available on most, but not all days. Beer and wine available. Morning breakfast has a large selection of meats, eggs, yogurt, waffles and fresh fruit. Overall, no reason to look anywhere else. You will be pleased.

OK Long Term Business Option Very convenient location relative to the airport. Monday thru Wednesday happy hour designed for business travelers with beer, wine, and a low budget meal. I’ve stayed here many times over many years, and there is very little variation (none?) to the menu. There is a morning breakfast too. The breakfast is OK. Also very predictable. There can be noise problems, but I’ve never experienced it during normal quiet hours. I’ve known the GM and staff members for many years. They are friendly and helpful. The furniture is not comfortable for long term lounging for tall people. The beds had been nice, but they are definitely beginning to show their age (furniture too), depending on the room. Could use some updating. The pool and hot tub are ok if you don’t mind the loud HVAC noise from the building next door. There is also a BBQ grilling area which is frequently used. The garbage truck will wake you up early in the morning (before 7) with its loud banging. Perhaps a good backup alarm clock. There is a always a large law enforcement (State Police, DNR, Military, etc...) contingency staying at this location. You can either feel nervous or more secure. They basically keep to themselves because they’re there to work. Suites have a kitchen and dishwasher. Suites also have sufficient space. Weekends are generally quiet with the non-business crowd. There are weekend meals too, but the dishes are silverware are replaced with styrofoam and plastic ware. I like staying here. Just wish they’d update the furnishings with newer, more comfortable furniture.
