Great place to stay! Hats off to Lexy. 2nd shift. I had just driven through NYC and my mind was still screwed. Her bright smile and pleasant personality was a plus. In addition she had my name welcoming me on a sign. That was nice also. _ Breakfast was the best of any Breakfast I have had in a hotel since the beginning if covid.

Mediocre Hotel in Mechanicsburg Very convenient to the highway, but didn't hear too much noise from it. Rooms were fairly clean and staff was friendly. However, the heating/air conditioning system is very old, loud, and finicky (dials on the unit, not digital ones on the wall). Breakfast was very disappointing - I am gluten free and there was basically nothing I was able to eat. Everything was carbs - lots of pastries and the only hot item was biscuits. Not even apples, bananas, or yogurt were available.

Disgusting amongst other things This place is not clean. Room smells musty like mold. They set the ac down to 65 to mask it but it doesn't work. It also smells like cigarettes everywhere. Also they gave me a room in the 1st floor which would be fine except the window overlooks the parking lot and the curtains are fake and don't close. All I have is a sheer between my family and a parked car up against my window with it's lights on. There is a side door which would be convenient except the card reader doesn't work. Seems like the staff leaves a stick in the door which is really unsafe. The cleaning people also never came. They only give you 2 towels despite it having 2 double beds. If you're not going to supply enough towels, at least replace them. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel here, but some functioning amenities and cleanliness is pretty standard in most hotels and not too much to ask for. Never again.

Beware of annoying sensor lights. Room looked old. The sensor lights do NOT make sense. If you try to turn the sensor off, it resets itself. I was taking a shower and the light went off. I had to step out of the shower wet and wave my arms to get the light to come back on. Not a safe idea. There is a sensor light as you come in the door, which annoyed the **** out of us. Every time my boyfriend went to the bathroom the light came on...BRIGHT I will add in the middle of the night. Woke me up and then I had trouble going back to sleep. Woke up sooo tired from lack of sleep. The desk person told us it was for the handicapped. Well, our room was not for handicapped people. No wheelchair or walker could EVER use the bathroom, and it had a bathtub (not a handicap shower) and no grab bars. Comfort Inn needs to take those annoying lights out and use ONLY in handicapped rooms. Bed was comfortable. Walls showed LOTS of patching with no sanding or textured sprayed back on walls. Lacked pictures and touch up on wood furniture with Old English, which made the room look old and worn.
