A pleasant surprise for the area. So pulling up to the hotel had me a bit worried as it is behind a Dennys and days inn that looked old and not in the best shape. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked as it was clean and employee was very nice and informative when checking us in. This is a smaller hotel but our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices both hot and cold.

No Room Serice Until Day 5 We stayed at this hotel from 4/12 to 4/17. We were promised explicitly with room service every two days. However, we did not get room service until day 5. I contacted front desk a couple times. They said we will have room service the next day, but it never show up until day 5. Nor was manager tried to contact me to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable. Especially, I have two young kids with me. I just filed a complaint with Hilton Corporate office and awaiting their response.

Poorest General Manager ever for a Hilton Hotel This was one of the WORST stays I have ever had at a Hilton Hotel. The toilet was stopped up when we arrived to the room. The A/C did not work in one of the other rooms we had rented. We were given a lower price the night before we arrived there for a FUNERAL and was told by the Gen Manager, Dee Lopez, that she would NOT honor that price. It was only $9.00 for one room and $24 for the other room. The so called General Manager needs to find another kind of work because she is the worst I have ever met. We were there for a funeral and all she did was make things worse. I will never set foot in that hotel again as long as she is there.

Nothing special other than the staff The front desk staff, in particular Paulette, went out of their way and deserve special recognition for their work and efforts. Excellent communication and customer service! The hotel itself is showing its age. Attention to detail would help. Hair conditioner was mounted next to the bathroom sink instead of lotion. The insert on the bathroom door was missing. Towel edges were frayed. Bed sheets were ill fitting. We were a little nervous of the area when we pulled in. The hotel itself is towards the end of a dead end, across from a lot that appears to store RV’s , cars and trucks….in a rather industrial area right off the interstate. We did not have any problems though. The location also lent itself to being very close to multiple eateries and a Publix. Not too far away. We were suprised to find a chaise lounge instead of a couch in our room, so the seating was limited in the room also. The breakfast was mundane. All three days it was cheese omelets, sausage and the last day potatoes were added. Oatmeal and waffles were always available. No fresh cut fruit but apples and sometimes bananas. The computer is located in the small breakfast eating area. It did not work for the three days we were here, we were told they were waiting for the contractor to come in and see what was wrong. We used the fitness room… there is a treadmill, exercise, bike, elliptical, weights, and a peloton. It was very stuffy in there, I was told they turn down the air when it gets cool at night, and sometimes forgot to turn it back on in there. Upon request, it was turned on and fine.

Not The Best Hampton Inn This was our last stop on an East Coast drive from Nova Scotia back to our home in South Florida. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two front desk staff who were friendly, professional and made our check-in seamless and quick. Upon arrival in our room, we immediately noticed a very musty smell and the stale air was quite warm. We turned on the air conditioner and figured the musty smell would subside soon there after. After about 1/2 hour, with the temperature now comfortable, I decided to take a nap. I took off my shoes and immediately my socks were wet. The entire carpet area along the outside wall and surrounding the bed was soaking wet (hence the musty odor). I promptly went downstairs to tell the front desk staff. They apologized and immediately switched us to a different room. Our new room was fine (not as nice/updated as other Hampton Inns), but sadly, this experience did set a negative tone for our visit. The included buffet breakfast was decent and the coffee was good. The hotel is conveniently located just off I-95. There is a gas station and a Denny's practically adjacent to the hotel. We typically look to book at Hampton Inn hotels, but this one was did not live up to our prior expectations.
