In need of an upgrade In need of a refresh. This hotel has a great location and a wonderful staff, who aim to please, but the facility is beat and in need of updating. Dark hallways. Dirty carpet. The bathroom was fine, but the room itself was tired. AC never cooled completely. Disappointing.

Sketchy surroundings, Old and tired property. We switched to this property from the Germantown area Hampton Inn to save money but realized we made a huge mistake after arriving! The facility needs a major overhaul as the furnishings, carpet and walls are dirty and very dated and the mattress was old and uncomfortable, and the pillows were old and lumpy. Bathrooms were clean but the floors were very dirty. We were on business but the desk was in front of the air conditioner and blew in our faces and the desk chair was unsuitable so we couldn't get our work done. The workout room was a joke as it was extremely small. There was a visible security person who appeared to be very alert and busy. While I was at the front desk, a visitor returned inside to report that his car had been stolen out of their parking lot! Police had to be called. Later on, security was investigating a report of another vehicle possibly being broken into on the side parking lot. I noticed there were several large groups of guests with one adult and many children (5 or more) who apparently checking in to take advantage of their outdoor pool. This needs to be controlled by management. It was common practice for smokers to hang around the entrances to smoke as we non-smokers had to put up with the stench. On the positive side, the front desk, security and breakfast personnel were helpful. The breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare. Not bad and enough to hold you to lunch. This seems to be in an unsafe area for anyone and is definitely not for business travelers. We've stayed at many of the Memphis area Hilton properties as we travel here for business frequently and found that this was probably the worse. We won't be returning here but will pay more for a much safer property in Germantown.

Best people in a really well kept property. Kay, India, and Kendrick were awesome! I have never cared much for Memphis, having been stationed there in the Marines and robbed twice in one year, but if these three are indicative of the people in Memphis - I'll be back. Wonderful human beings!

The reason I drive out of my way. The young lady working the front counter was extremely helpful. She has waited on me 3 or 4 times and has always been a pleasure to work with. Her name is Sierra and she makes my stay enjoyable. Customer service has been lost but Sierra is awesome. I was disappointed that Scott is no longer with the hotel.
