Beautiful stay with charm The bed was comfortable, the cabin charming, the grounds beautiful, and the staff happy. We stayed in the Pomo cottage and it had a private backyard with hot tub just outside our bedroom. The floors were sloped (as advertised) and after a few days it was a little less charming, but it wouldn't stop me from returning. The quiet was peaceful and did I mention how comfortable the bed was.

We loved this Inn! Captains Watch is perfect! We loved our stay in Captains Watch! Especially when the fog cleared and we could see the breathtaking views of the land and sea. No wonder they named it such. A great room with large windows and glass doors gave it an almost treehouse feeling. We loved the stove heater which added such a cozy ambiance. A large tub, coffee, quiet surroundings and privacy made this a perfect getaway for my husband and I. Though we didn’t see much of the staff, when we did they were all so friendly and accommodating. This property is just a short drive from town and there is a market a minute up the road where we picked up last minute wine and cheeses. Great stay! Relaxing, clean and comfortable!

Captain's Watch! We stayed at Captain's Watch and it is the room to choose! Nicely laid out, great sunset views and comfy! The deck seating is welcome on a warm day...but we didn't have a warm day so the gas stove was welcome. Easy parking and great staff made for a nice stay.

Relax with your dog. Great place with friendly staff. Individual cottages, perfect for dog lovers. Our cottage had a fully fenced back yard so our dog had a place to run. Beautiful location and very laid-back. Perfect place to relax for a few days. We will be back.

More like a low quality motel than a Mendocino-style inn. We stayed in the Water Tower room, which has the private hottub . As soon as we walked into the room, we could see it needed attention: old vinyl/laminate floor that was peeling, dark/black splotches on 2 of the window coverings, mold spots and yellow water marks on the bathroom ceiling, torn lamp shade on the single bedside table, sink faucet leaked when you turned it on. And ants! Inside the door, on the sink, the floors by the door--at least not on the bed. At first it was not so bad (just a few), but got worse over time, and was awful in the morning. We did spend the night thinking things would look better in the morning, but we left as soon as we got up, even though we paid for 2 nights. Didn't bother to ask for our money back---just wanted to get the heck out of there. We did not risk using the hot tub. Pros: friendly and efficient woman checked us in; the outside grounds look nice. I do not recommend this place. We will never return.
