Great hotel to stay especially if your needs are associated with Stanford Medical Nice remodel and refresh of the hotel. Great service all around as a Best Western should be. Big rooms that are very clean to enjoy. The tables in the pool area are great place to eat takeout or play games plus there are heaters. Plenty of parking under the hotel too.

Very friendly helpful staff, clean and nice We came last minute as family to a patient in Stanford. We were warmly greeted by Nicole and were happy we were able to have early check in. The room is very nice and clean and good amenities such as coffee, refrigerator and microwave in room. The free breakfast is very good with a lot of options. The entire staff has been exceptionally nice and helpful. One lady went the extra mile helping us find pizza to order going as far to make the call for us. The grounds are very nice with an especially nice pool area complete with a fire pit, shower and handicap accessible to the pool. Covered parking is a plus. By a busy street and a train nearby but we did not find it bothersome. Only thing is the conditioner in the shower is not hair conditioner. It’s actually body wash Found that out the hard way lol. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

In the Middle of It All The location was perfect for everything I wanted to do. I could easily walk to downtown Palo Alto and over to Menlo Park. Stanford University and the train station were also within walking distance. I will most definitely stay at Best Western Plus Riviera again.

A great Port in a Storm We were at Stanford Med for our daughter who was life flighted there. As might imagine, we did not have an opportunity to plan and of this stay. This was only my second time to Menlo Park/Palo Alto. My previous visit was 45 years ago. So, we needed a place to stay. We chose this hotel as we like BW. It is close to the Stanford Med. It is clean and it is a place where you can sit down and catch up with yourself. It is relatively quiet- there is street noise, but it varies by time of day. It is comfortable. Breakfasts are really good. Have the orange guava/passion fruit juice! Because we were not aware of what was going to happen for our daughter, we made three different reservations, as we learned we needed to stay longer. Book on line in advance. It is much cheaper. There is a grocery store three blocks down El Camino on the left with everything you may want. Parking is below the second floor and your car is safe.
