Overnight stay with family and dogs The hotel is pretty average for an Econolodge. But this Hotel sits right on Lake Michigan and has a nice little beach area to walk on. We had 3 bigger dogs with us. Our beds were comfortable, and the water pressure for the shower was great! Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and pastries.

Great view. The morning sunrise view out our window was breath taking. Room was nicely decorated, however we found a lamp cord was lying atop the hot baseboard heater. This could be fixed before it starts a fire. We also worried that a child could grab the wire nuts and electrical tape indicating a ptevious fire hazard.

Choose another place in this town to stay! We have traveled through Michigan for the past week and stayed at comparably priced hotels/motels and had not one negative experience UNTIL THIS PLACE. The only positive I can report is that the bed was relatively comfortable (bad pillows, however). The bathroom was clean but the carpet was nasty. I took a shower before going to bed and after having walked around the room during the night and next morning the bottom of my feet were BLACK!

Quiet and Comfortable after a long drive Very nice room, bed, bathroom very comfortable --room was clean and nicely laid out. Quiet and comfortable and close to good dining. Quiet and Comfortable which was important after a long drive from St. Ignace via Tahquamenon Falls and Seoul Choix Point Lighthouse. Will stay there again.

It was Amazing! We enjoyed our stay! The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Room was clean. My husband loved the massage option on the showerhead. We walked right down to the lake. They have pinic table out back so you can sit and enjoy the bay. We will definitely be back!
