It was nice and clean the cut the guy behind the county it was nice he helped me out my dates was wrong on the on the booking an Versus that it was nice it was really good and I will stay again county help me with my dates and we got it all straightened out now and able to go and lay down and had a good time and woke up early have breakfast it was good and thank you very nice and clean and water get hot and the bed is comfortable and

Insane customer unfriendly experience! Waited almost 2 hours for the check-in tonight. Booked and paid through Booking.com but the accommodation did not see us in their system, they could see the booking in their Booking.com account and also see that it had already been paid in advance. However, because their system had not received the booking, we could not check in. According to the accommodation we had to call Booking.com ourselves, the fault lay with them according to the accommodation. After contacting booking.com we were told that the accommodation just had to check us in. We have indicated that we want to cancel the booking because of the unkind and nonchalant attitude of the hotel employee. Apparently the gentleman found this very funny because he was constantly laughing at the situation. Bah bah what a nasty experience! In the meantime I have (with the cooperation of a friendly employee at booking.com) checked in at a very friendly hotel in the area!

They house homeless people Good- They allowed us early check in Bad- Rooms filthy and stinky. It smelled like cat pee. At first I was understanding of the stench and stained carpet. Saturday night there were all these homeless people hanging out in the parking lot. Me being a mom and traveling with my daughter made me very nervous and uncomfortable. Sunday morning we go to get breakfast and the breakfast area is crowded with the same homeless people from the parking lot. One must have room key to access breakfast area. This may explain the smell - meth? I felt it should have been disclosed that they house homeless people.

Probably as good a choice as any in this town Unfortunately Merced is a town I'd never want to return to. Even the Walmart has much product under lock and key. That said this hotel is well worn but the maintenance seems good except for the mold on the tub ceiling.

Super noisy place and services left much to be desired. Thought this would be an easy stay before kids' SAT test, but turned out a nightmare: the place is super noisy, being next to the highway, and exit/on ramp, and seems to be very close to a train track, we were constantly woke up by car, train in the middle of the night, not a good experience at all. The kid forgot to bring his toothbrush, in room there was a sign saying that if you missed any toiletry, the front desk would have you covered, so went to front desk, only to find that they have no toothbrush. In the morning, even though the stated checkout time was 12pm, the housekeeping came to knock on the door around 9:30am, we told her to come back later, and put the do not disturb sign on, but she came back to knock 15 min later. On the plus side, the breakfast has decent selection, the hostess was very warm and helpful
