Great Experience! We stayed 4 nights the end of June 2024. Wonderful place. Walking distance to many different attractions and restaurants. Room (#24) was huge. We had plenty of room to spread out. Bed was a little firm for our liking, but overall, very comfortable place. Nice pool and having a restaurant right in the hotel was great. We would stay her again for sure.

Comfortable and convenient location We stayed here for 3 nights as part of Intrepid tour. The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are clean and spacious. Room 24 had a broken hinge that made opening/closing that particular window impossible. The pool is nice and pretty when lit up at night. There is a mini market across the street (to buy water, drinks, and snacks) and many restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel while staying in Merida.

The location was safe and amazing to walk around! The breakfast was great, and they let me add it only on the days I wanted it.

Loved our Stay We have been to Merida a few times over the years and our popular go-to hotel was booked up. We wanted something in the Santa Lucia area and Casa Lucia had a room available for our entire stay. I originally had booked 5 nights, leaving the last two nights open, but when we saw the room, we decided to extend our stay. The sidewalks and road on Calle 60 (and 47) are being resurfaced with pavers and we were concerned about construction noise. Fortunately, only faint and occasional drilling could be heard and we were able to enjoy the gardens, the pool and the comfortable seats outside our room (we were on the ground floor). The room was very spacious and airy and the beds are super comfortable. Rooms have original artwork by Merida artist, Lorena Medina – a nice touch. There are hammocks and rocking chairs by the pool and we made good use of these, especially in the evening, while enjoying the luminous pool, the water fountains and quiet music. The hotel has a grey and white cat, Camila, who entertained us with her occasional meow. In the morning you can hear parrots, doves, grackles and kiskadees. The staff, receptionists Berenice, Alex, and manager, Marta, were all helpful. We didn’t bother with the American breakfast, which is served in the restaurant by the hotel entrance. There are plenty of choices for coffee in the area (we liked Cafe Cafica … on Calle 58 between 49 and 47 for organic Veracruz coffee, and Santa Ana market is nearby for delicious apple bananas, papaya, and tortas de lechon (suckling pig). We enjoyed the cocktails and shareable appetizers at Soberana. We did not want to leave Casa Lucia. It was a pretty perfect hotel.

Left many messages with promises to call back Spoke with sales, reception, administration, all had excuses and promises to call back...they were working on pricing, in meetings, etc. Left many messages, and never heard from anyone. Switched to a better property who quoted me a price, took my reservation and booking in 10 minutes.
