Great customer service The pillows are the best, nice and firm. The location is great and the Doorman Sr. Francisco was amazing. We would have been lost without his direction. Sr. Francisco is a great person to have at the door. He is kind and greets you every time with a smile. Customer service is what makes a place great or not. Sr Francisco is definitely a reason I would recommend this hotel.

Uncaring hotel and staff May 18th - May 23rd 2024. Got to this Ritz hotel at 11:00 am, went to check in Christopher said room will it be ready at4:00 pm we asked him if he could see our reservation for the breakfast that we had paid for with Expedia he told us he could not see anything until we check in at 4:00 pm. We went to look around the area then came back at 4:30 pm. Christopher was there he just ignored us we had told Francesco we came earlier to check in and now we are back we told him our breakfast is included because we had already paid for it through Expedia but no information was passed on to Francesco from Christopher. Also Francesco was very rude to us and kept on saying No you have not paid for the breakfast so rude no compassion at all also Rosa was there as well front desk manager but she never intervened No help at all. We called Expedia for 2 hours we was trying to sort this out with No help from any of the staff. They are rude as well as the breakfast staff. I called the front desk from my room they do not answer the phone and if they do they put the phone down, once I called for an iron and board Francesco said he will bring it he never did!! Customer service is NOT there at all No Empathy for a human being.we talked to Jimena she told us a manager would get in touch with us after all these problems but never did. We’ve traveled the world but the staff very rude does not give 2 hoots also the hotel is ran down bathrooms disgusting no soap for shower they don’t fill it, shower no pressure and you have to let it run 15 minutes to get hot water,no batteries in remote. You only get 2 bottles of water per room if you want more then you have to pay for it.if. The Bellmen are Great and very helpful indeed Jesus is one of them looks like they need to be in management and not the others. We are still waiting on management to call us and there has not been any follow on our stay!! We tried to get there corporate phones numbers and emails but to no avail!! Do Not stay at this hotel unless you want these similar problems!!

Not what I thought ! The service was a 4 out of a 10. The day I arrived, I wanted to open the shades and they fell on top of me. I asked for body soap and they forgot to bring it to me. I also lost some souvenirs and went to the front desk to see if they had found them, Christopher in the front desk was super rude and didn’t offer any help. No refrigerator in the rooms just in case this is something you need to have. In overall, I do not recommend this hotel if service is important to you.

Great location, nice staff and decent rooms. Avoid the restaurant. This is, I would guess, a 3-star hotel in a 5-star location. The only bad thing we experienced in a one-week stay was the restaurant. While some of the food can be good, much is not very good. One day at breakfast, I notified the waitress that the buffet's eggs and beans were cold. She simply said, "no they are not," and walked away. After that we ate across the street at the cafe "Biscuits Obregon," a place with as many locals as excellent food choices. Their coffee con leche is the best. Back at the hotel, the beds are quite firm and rooms are of good size. While the elevator can be a bit challenging at times (it has its own personality), it generally got us where we were going. Our view was of some ramshackle building next door, but that turned out to be a good thing, as the Avenida Madero outside is loud, as it is a pedestrian only street with a nice police presence that keeps everyone coming out for walks and entertainment at the many fine restaurants in the area, as well as the fascinating historical sites. So, my advice boils down to if you want a 3-star hotel in a great location, stay here and avoid the restaurant.

Great hotel in the historic center of Mexico City! i loved my 10 night stay at hotel ritz...the staff is very friendly and welcoming...itzel and edgar in particular went beyond the call of duty to be helpful to me...the hotel is located on a pedestrian only street so there is no noise from automobile traffic...the hotel is located in the historic center of mexico city so you are a short walk away from the main square of zocalo and the old district of the city just east of the square...and you are not too far from the trendy neighborhoods of roma and condessa...there is a wonderful buffet breakfast with orange juice, fresh cantaloupe, papaya and pineapple served every morning but it does cost extra beyond the cost of the room...i am hoping to return to hotel ritz next year!
