Clevelander Hotel – Adults Only

Not as expected. A lot of things were not as expected. When I checked in, the person at front desk did not know what they were doing it seemed. Didn’t even know about the 6th floor roof deck. The rooms were pretty plain and outdated. The shower water did not stay in the shower area and it flooded the bathroom the first time. Had to put towels down to stop the water. Telephone in the room did not work so couldn’t call front desk or anywhere else. The roof deck on 4th floor was not open or used. The roof deck on 6th floor was only used on Friday night. Not many people went up there. It was a good view from up there though. The sports bar was not being used all week. Barely anyone in the pool, which seemed a bit dirty. Drinks were over priced. Valet was convenient, but an additional charge I was. It aware of until I got there. Not too many people during the week were there either during a peak time. The location was in the heart of South Beach. All in all, not the best impression.

Amazing experience We had an AMAZING experience through out our staying at the Clevelanders hotel In Ocean Dr Miami FL I have to say i usually don’t do Reviews but this place definitely earned one. Our stay was for 4 days At soon as we arrived to the front desk, Mishelle went out her way to make sure we had every thing we needed Thank you Mishelle. Room and bathroom was clean every day Beds were also made every day We got clean towels, toilet paper, body wash and shampoo every day. Overall just and amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

We loved the location, easy to go back and forth to the beach, and Michelle at the front desk! My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary - our favorite aspects of Clevelander were the location, free towels/loungers for the beach, and Michelle at the front desk! We loved being able to pop over to the beach for as long or short amounts of time as we felt like and be right by the hotel to shower, grab a bite, etc. Ask at the front desk for the info on the beach loungers. They'll tell you where to go on the beach to get them and they're free for Clevelander guests. I think it was about $20 to add on the umbrella too. It made for a very low-stress, easy beach day. No annoying logistics or traveling around in wet bathing suits. We just walked over with our towels from the hotel, got some loungers (I think about 10 min walk to the loungers), an umbrella, relaxed then swam in the ocean, and then we went straight back to the hotel to shower, etc. Michelle is a ray of sunshine when you walk by the front desk, offering you a frozen drink! She was so friendly, sweet, kind, and helpful. She's the one who gave us all the info about where to find the loungers and told us about the free bike rentals which we didn't end up trying but sounded fun! The hotel is also right on the main strip with tons of restaurants. We walked right over to Gianni's at the former Versace mansion for our anniversary dinner! Really close to the hotel too was the rentals on the beach for Jet skis, kayaks, etc. We did kayaks and it was so fun!! If they're closed, it's probably because some days, the winds/weather are too rough so just try again the next day or try calling. It's called BouYah Watersports. There are others too but this is the one we found and it was right on the beach by the hotel. Last thing - we really like the beds at Clevelander! Some combination of the mattress and pillows but we both slept really well :) The room wasn't super big but the hotel is so close to everything, it wasn't like we needed to hang out in the room other than to shower and rest a bit in the bed / sleep at night. If you're looking for a hotel that's walking distance to the beach, near lots of restaurants/bars, and allows you to pop back and forth into the hotel room so you can shower and rest in between activities, I think Clevelander's a really good choice.

Fabulous If you want to be well looked after and have a fabulous time in Miami, this place is for you. Carlos is a superstar and really makes your experience great from the start! If you end up visiting the Clevelander, Carlos is the person you need!!! Lots of fun things to do right around the corner, perfect location.

Twin flames at the Clevelander. Here at the Clevelander, we had the most best time of our lives. I stayed in many hotels in South Beach, but this one is by far the best because of the scenery the lights and how close you are to the beach the hospitality is amazing. There are two employees here that work behind the front desk and her name is Michelle and also Carlos they took care of us so well with a great smile. The drinks were amazing the food everything that they had to offer here at the Clevelander if anyone comes to Miami, please come to the Clevelander. This is an amazing place. You’re gonna have such a great time here, especially here with the pool. Jay and I stayed here for tonight and this was an amazing adventure for us while we were able to record some great video for my school for Miami media. The best thing that ever happened was that Jay and I were able to rekindle our relationship/friendship as twins. We are both fraternal twins. I recommend this hotel 110%.
