Consistently excellent. I have been here two or three other times, so I have the benefit of experiencing it on different days, in different years. Every time I have been here, it has met my expectations. It's clean, comfortable, has a good breakfast, it's quiet, and friendly, and has helpful staff, particularly Teresina and Shawn. There are only a few hotels in this town, so if you want to stay here, I would advise booking ahead.

They prioritize pets over people I asked at check in if I could be put in a room that was not a pet friendly room (I also made this request when I booked the room online) and was advised that all rooms are used for pets and they do not save any rooms for those of us who have pet allergies. For those of us with asthma, being exposed to pets in a confined space can have serious consequences. Even for those who are not allergic, there are people who do not appreciate dog or cat smelling rooms. Hampton Inns have lost a customer here. Why are pets extended more rights than people?

Very Nice, Quite and Clean. Great Breakfast We stay at the Hampton Inn because we had stayed at our first Hampton Inn in Freeport, ME in June and loved it. This location didn't disappoint us. We liked the breakfast and the comfortable bed and the nice bathroom. Good location to local restaurants. The only thing we couldn't figure out was the A/C unit. It wasn't noisy but we couldn't figure out how to keep the fan coming on very 5 minutes.

Pleasant and clean The hotel in general and the room was clean and had a pleasant environment. Coffee was good. Breakfast was OK. Staff was helpful and the bathroom was enjoyable. It's not luxurious but I would stay there again.

New hotel, but not clean New hotel but not adequately clean. The sign outside the hotel proclaimed they are hiring housekeepers and you can see the need in the room. My room wasn’t very clean and I suspect they are short on housekeepers. Last guest’s used washcloth was in the floor and it looked like there was dried mucas by the toilet.
