Great Stay Very nice clean hotel. The front desk clerk was friendly when checking in. We were not able to use our digital key for some reason on this stay, hopefully just a glitch. Will definitely stay here again while in the area. Lots of things to do around Newport - beaches, shops, zoo in providence.

They treat you like family. We stayed at the hotel for 5 weeks for my husband’s class. The staff was kind and treated us like family. Mr. Michael was very accommodating to my celiac, Ms. Sandy was kind to always inquire and see how we were doing. Ms. Alexis at the front desk and everyone else was always so helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Nice weekend getaway We were at this location Feb. 15-18 for a long weekend in Newport. Overall we had a very nice stay here. The hotel was an easy drive to downtown and the mansions, which were the reason for our visit. The hotel was very clean, staff all very friendly and our room was nicely furnished and equipped. Further down our hall, there were some renovations/painting in progress. The breakfast buffet had a number of options however the "quiche" may have been the worst breakfast offering we've ever had. Staff was made aware that 2 of the 4 available handicap parking spaces were plowed inaccessible with snow upon our arrival, and this was not remediated during our stay. I'd like to suggest adding hand sanitizer dispensers in high-traffic areas (such as the breakfast area and lobby) and we would like to acknowledge Totiyanna of the front desk for her friendly and positive customer service, by helping us into the pool area one evening, and returning a lost item that she knew was mine (without me asking).

Great Stay! Wonderful space with the kitchen area. Beds weren't comfortable but I was told there will be a full upgrade JAN 2024... outside of the beds, what a stay! Good location in Middletown and great staff, breakfast, etc.

Just Up the Rhode Stayed two nights here recently and were lucky to find lodging on a very busy Columbus Day weekend. This was our second stay at this conveniently located place, just a short drive from all that the great city of Newport has to offer. WHAT WAS GOOD: Newport is a fun place to visit but it can be crowded and expensive at certain times of the season. The property is located just outside the city limits, offering free parking, reasonable rates, a respite from the crowds and just a short trek into town….Our suite was large and well-appointed, with a full kitchen and plenty of floor space. Traveling with my son, I was pleased that we could enjoy some degree of privacy and separation, with him occupying the front portion of the unit, with pullout sofa, TV and office furniture while I could settle into the king bedroom in the back. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: Our room had a fair degree of wear and tear. Bathroom wallpaper was peeling in several places and the ceiling had a number of stains. Carpeting was about due for an upgrade….Kitchen cabinets were bare when I checked them to see what plates, silverware, glasses, etc., were available to us. Strangely, when I opened the dishwasher, it was stocked full with all the kitchenware (clean, thankfully). Apparently, Housekeeping had run the dishes but neglected to return them to the cabinets….Not surprisingly, the quality of the pullout sofa left a bit to be desired….Breakfasts were disappointing on both mornings of our stay. The quality of the typical included-with-stay offerings were below standard in my opinion. THINGS TO KNOW: We didn’t make use of it, but I was pleased to learn that regularly scheduled shuttle service into Newport is available for a small fee. This would definitely come in handy during busy times, like ours, when parking is scarce and costly in town. BOTTOM LINE: This is a good choice for anyone seeking standard lodging with basic amenities just outside of Newport.
