Comfort Inn & Suites Midway - Tallahassee West

Fool me once ........ The overall stay was very substandard . The room smelled , the breakfast wasn't close to other Comfort Inns. the pool was accessible from the side parking lot by an open gate so anyone could enter , the side entrance key entries were disabled/broken and people were propping them open . Luckily , it was only for one night .

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! This place is disgusting! I booked two rooms for my staff members attending a conference. The first to person to arrive, contacted me shortly after checking in to let me know the room, specifically the bed, was dirty and that the front desk told her there was no one available to change the bed and no other room was available. While I was on the phone with her, she was told the bed was re-made for her. See the attached picture of the dirty sheet. She was not comfortable with the clear lack of attention to cleanliness and sanitization and chose to leave the hotel. The second person arrived not long after, was also disgusted by the lack of clean facilities. See the attached picture of the restroom, and opted to leave as well. Considering we live in a Covid aware world, the obvious lack of cleanliness at filthy Comfort Inn Midway is alarming. Also, the manager, Mike, doesn't take or return calls or emails to address any of these issues. I think a call to the health department is in order. FYI, I rebooked my staff at a nearby AC Hotel by Marriott, it was less expensive and clean!!! Do yourself a favor. DO NOT BOOK WITH COMFORT INN MIDWAY.

Comfort! First off Ms Whitney greeted me with the warmest welcome upon my arrival. She checked me with and assigned my room. As I got my wife and our luggage we proceeded to the elevator which wasn’t working. Of course that’s a disappointment after a lengthy drive. Unfortunately our room was reassigned and instead of a king room we ended up settling for a double bed. It changed the dynamics of the trip, but the atmosphere was so peaceful. It was conveniently located near I-10 with a short drive to town. Both Mr. Pauly and Mr. Jay’Quan wee most helpful. The hotel offers an nice breakfast menu and it is a place I would stay again for the right price!

POOR SERVICE IN THE DINING AREA. I thought the rooms were comfortable but i doubt i would come back there again. Woke.. up the next morning and they had construction workers come in and they gobbled all the friggin breakfast. I walked in to the dining area at 7:00am and they ate ALL the hot food. As a paying guest the only choice i had was cold cereal, muffins, and coffee. I travel alot but I will never stay there again.

Bereavement stay. Horrible experience Checked in, dropped bag in room, then headed out to find a church and supper. We had been traveling almost 12 hours to Florida for my brother’s funeral. Arrived back to hotel at 9:30, room was hot and had roaches on the wall. Clerk moved us across the hall. The room was just as bad, it had a used wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, mouse droppings in the corner of the sink counter top, black smear down the shower where the silicone has molded, dirty behind the bathroom door, sink wouldn’t drain and a brown smear on the wall beside the tv. Had we not been exhausted and mentally drained from the family situation we would have left. This hotel doesn’t deserve the choice brand. I told the clerk and showed the pictures, he said to email the manager the pics and would be contacted, it’s been a week and I have yet to receive any response to the email. The check in clerk refused to use my choice rewards number as part of check in, so I had to contact choice to add the missing stay to my profile. Had to use fabreeze to make the room smell better. Breakfast bar was dirty and very unappealing, dried out foods.
